The guard fell unconscious after that, and Max's was also gone after venting it to the guard, he then held Cindy's hand and pulled her towards the city.

The King anger startled Christobal and as the prime minister, he needed to consider the bigger picture. Punishing everyone involved can cause some irreversible damage to the future. Christobal wanted to say something but one pointed glare by the King stopped him from doing so.

Real Author Note:
Yet another author joins the shameless-rating club ?Anyways, hello there! I’m glad that you’re checking out this book, even if it’s just the reviews. As the author, I do have a few things to say! 1. This book starts out very dark. In fact, the prologue has been known to cause multiple reactions. Furthermore, I kinda debated on whether or not to rewrite it, but I decided to keep it. Why? Because it ties in with the rest of the story much later. But either way, if you’re reading it, you should see what it’s rated. Otherwise, don’t say I didn’t warn you. 2. There will be many different arcs, or volumes, or whatever you like to call it. Each arc (that’s the preferred word that the author uses) will be really long. In fact, it’ll be almost a complete book (in western book terms), so you’ll have plenty of reading material. Each arc will feature multiple targets as well. There will be many different types of arcs to explore different kinds of worlds and timelines. In fact, I already have an arc where she’s a grandmaster of cultivation, a devil (or deviless if you want the technical term for a female devil), etc. (That’s kinda of a spoiler, but haha oh well.) In fact, I also have jotted down an arc where she’s a slave in what is a futuristic world with futuristic technology. You’ll just have to wait and see! 3. The male lead. I’ve had many people question his existence, and I, the author, question his existence too. I mean, I’ve thought of a plot twist that’ll get you to throw things at me in the end of the book, but that’s still debatable and I’d have to completely plan it before I make any decisions. Also, will Xiao Yunhua (the MC) have any intimate (if you know what I mean ?) scenes with any target? I also don’t know. In the beginning, I was like, yes, she will, but now, I’ll try to make it avoidable as much as possible. Unless I write to a point where it can’t be avoided, in that case, know that I’ve decided to do the plot twist that I’ve mentioned earlier. 4. Don’t expect MC to be perfect! For goodness sake, I’ve already had many people bash her for being too naïve and not overpowered in the FIRST arc, which is also her very first mission. At the time that she transmigrated into her first world, she was barely 18 (mentally). An 18 year old will not be perfect in no sense. Even though the idea of a Goddess System is unrealistic, but I try to make the characters as realistic and 3D as possible. So their reactions and such will be what we’d feel (well, most of us) in such a situation. She’ll go through so much to the point that she’ll be numb. Cruel? Yes. Necessary? Also yes. Why? You’ll have to wait and see. I’ve also seen many people complain that the characters around her aren’t behaving realistic at all and that they should investigate before assumption. All I can say is that I know what I’m writing and that “manipulation” plays a large role in about everything in this novel. Who’s manipulating who? You’ll be surprised to see it’s not only the MC. 5. The update schedule; I try to do at least 4 chapters every week. My chapters range from 1000-2500 words (with the prologue as the exception because it’s 4000 words long), so you’ll have plenty of reading material. Also, if I don’t update for a week (which will be rare), just know that something is probably going on in real life and that I’ll most likely do a mass release the following week. 6. My fellow readers, do not worry about grammar and spelling! Trust me, my writing will not make you want to claw your eyes out. I’ve seen MANY books with awful grammar and spelling to the point that it looks like they just inserted something into google translate and expected good results. And of course, they’d use the excuse of not having “English as their first language”. Which is complete bullsh¡t because there are many people, including me, whose mother tongue isn’t English yet still TRY to present decent work. Anyways, if you’ve read to this point, I hope you do give UGS a chance because I’m sure that it won’t disappoint you! Here’s the discord link in case you want spoilers, discuss chapters, chat, etc. https://discord.gg/rrZguqpIf you have any questions, ask away and I’ll do my best to answer without revealing too much!
Average novel with poor editing. The only reason this has a high rating is bots. Hopefully when quidian remove this they'll remove the bot reviews too.
The endless screaming and destruction finally died away into silence. I laid on my cot, sharing up towards the dank, dark, ceiling. For a moment, I felt hollow without Dracoth whispering murder in my ears. I had gotten used to him, he was a part of everyday life. But now, I felt… unsettled. Off-kilter.
"Having a Princess serve tea to a commoner would have been improper, and I don't mind, I enjoy doing this." Pò answered while flashing her most convincing smile.
"What I think must happened was that she was halfway through the process of transferring her soul when you interrupted the ritual. It ended prematurely splitting her soul in half and draining half of her vitality."
Only when Huan Meirong sat the palace maids proceeded to place the food on the jade table while saying what kind of dish it was. This was implemented because she liked to eat by herself and just by knowing where what was she was able to eat what she wanted without any help.
