The more time she spent with him, the more she realized just how fortunate Gu Yan's crush was... and without realizing it, she fell for him. Hard, yet gracefully, in the quintessential Qi Xi style. Because she didn't want to be the villain who further disrupts Gu Yan's life, she tried to keep her distance... but would Gu Yan let her? Especially since her debt to him was still unpaid?
Like all of Ye Feiran's works, this novel blends romance and comedy as two newly graduated lawyers navigate work, love, and life. However, unlike her other novels where the main characters are often overpowered, in this story, the characters act their age. They struggle as newbie lawyers despite being at the top of their class, but they learn and grow through the cases they handle. For anyone currently interning or starting a new career path, the characters' experiences will be very relatable as they make mistakes and learn from them.

The main character (MC) in this story is highly unrealistic, killing indiscriminately in a poorly constructed virtual reality massively multiplayer online (VRMMO) setting that defies credibility. In the first few chapters, there are several implausible aspects:
1. The game allows players to set pain levels so high that death can occur in real life, which is hard to justify for any responsible company.
2. A level 1 character is able to defeat numerous opponents quickly, as if they were made of glass. Other players are depicted as weak and unprepared, not utilizing their own spawned weapons, and the reaction time of players seems absurdly slow.
3. A lone level 1 player should not be able to overpower a group of experienced players, especially in a PvP-heavy environment. The lack of effective opposition from town guards further strains belief.
4. The presence of guards who cannot stop the MC raises questions about their purpose and the game's balance.
5. The concept of a safe zone is disregarded, which would typically prevent a single player from causing chaos. If the entire world is a PK zone, players would be prepared to fight at all times.
6. The MC learns skills instantly, despite killing the character meant to teach them, which is unrealistic.
While some readers might enjoy the unique narrative twist, the author argues that the story does not warrant a five-star rating. They express strong dislike for the MC, particularly due to an event in chapter 1 involving violence that offends them.

I honestly loved the manhwa of this, it's one of my favorites, but now I'm afraid of ruining the good memory after reading the comments... Can anyone who has seen the manhwa and read the novel tell me if the novel is worth reading?
