Read this book, and tell your friends too! Uplifting story about change and growth. Very well written with such an original world and story. I’m trying to not type any spoilers, but for book 2 I’d be ecstatic to read any of the other timekeepers’ storylines. Beautiful work author KP, beautiful <3
Recommended read for sure...

An awesome ... book one of a kind love the storyline
Seductive and erotic and yet lovely at the same time. The right amount of heartbreak and obstacles to keep you from turning to tears and the an ending which put a smile on my face. I just this story!

Is there’s a part 2 to this book
The pacing in these chapters is absolutely relentless and I stayed up way too late reading it. It starts with the rumor crisis — Lu Jinyu's servant spreading lies about the children's paternity. The stakes are enormous: if Shenshen and Weiwei's bloodline is questioned, it's not just an insult, it's a threat to their entire future, their inheritance, their place in the family. Lu Yanzhi moves fast. He investigates, he exposes Lu Jinyu, he reports to the authorities. The Jingzhao Residence delivers thirty lashes. The family's honor is restored, but the damage is done. Then — galloping hooves. "There's trouble at Zhi Mo Academy!" Both Song Zhiyao and Lu Yanzhi drop everything and run. The urgency is immediate. Lu Yan has attacked Lu Jianwei. The younger child is traumatized, hiding in a wardrobe, refusing to come out even for his own brother. What makes this conflict so gripping is the layering. You have the external conflict (rumors, punishment, violence between cousins) but underneath it all is the emotional conflict — can these children trust anyone? Lu Jianwei won't come out for his brother. He won't come out for his father. He only comes out for Song Zhiyao, who earned his trust one story at a time. And the ending — Lu Jinyu, bruised and punished, hearing that his son Lu Yan was beaten by Lu Jianshen, his face darkening, his fists clenching — the next conflict is already brewing. This isn't resolved. It's just the calm before the next storm. The author knows how to keep you hooked.
