It's... Boring. That's all there is to it. The translation is not unreadable but its kinda bad,the story is rushed and pretty repetitive(go to place, make enemy, kill enemy, get resources).The character design sucks, all characters are really dumb and 2D, they are as bad as these characters in old cliche cultivation novels. The protagonist is unlikable and is just copy paste with no personality besides having a "hobby" about murder.The world background is really average and is just a cultivation world, even the mech thing isn't original, Mechanical God Emperor came first and does it way better even if though its also cliche. The mechs don't really feel like mechs at all, and the author doesn't even respect his own rules.(First he says low level mechs have no intelligence, then he shows that low level mech being perfectly capable of normal speech and logical reasoning, as smart as normal person. He is just dumb because the author says so)Anyways this is just a cliche time waster novel that hooks in people with a good idea and just exploits the idea throwing around some cliche plots and pointless crap for word count. You will maybe like it if you are a new reader or if you just like to read cliche novels for some reason, but I'm tired of this kind of BS, This novel is not for me.
So far i really like it, hopefully it stays interesting and it gets picked. Anybody know of similar books where the MC becomes the pet of a beast tamer?
Don't worry, I may be the author of this novel, but I know how to be unbiased in my self-criticism. Where to start... Oh yes, so the writing during the first 30-40 chapters is rather rough either in grammar or in the accuracy of some information, the reason of that is that English isn't my first language and that taking into account that this is my first novel I didn't took enough time to verify certain things I wrote, please bear with me, I have improved a lot in the meantime (I swear). I'm planning to edit all of this but it's not going to happen right away... Tell yourself that if you like the beginning, the story can only get better and better as you go through the chapters. Also, the biggest weakness I would attribute to my novel is the pace of publishing, I'm not regular (though that might change in the next few months as I'm on vacation and fully focused on this)... BUT (yes, we're finally getting to the part where I stop bashing my own novel and that I will tell you why you should read it). -Although some of the (secondary) characters may sometimes seem stereotypical (anyway, if they do, they won't stay in the story long enough to have an importance), each of the main characters is unique and if you like characters who act logically you will love the MC and his compagnions (except one, or maybe two).-The story revolves around different mythologies, different pantheons of deities as well as different folklores and on this side you will be spoiled. -I am very active in the comments as well as on discord (Barbare#6899) so if you have questions, ask them and you will be sure to get an answer. Everyone this book clearly teaches us why we don't click on weird link. It's a great story, author really described the guy right. But it's kind of funny.Loved to more of the monkey adventures
A very good, fresh novel with good background and promising characters...I am sure this novel will build up a good world farther, kudos to author for working hard..
Overall unsatisfactory in both personality and writing style I wish there was more of a good description than a horrible first impression. I hope the writer will continue to work on these issues and the story has me turning more pages
I had super high hopes for this novel started out good got an awesome premise. The only problem is, is that the author end up making the main character absolutely terrible. Everything he’s done is built on lies. He’s ignorant and all situations and he’s arrogant for no apparent reason it’s like when you have a really stupid character and then they think they’re really cool, but they’re actually like an idiot and then there’s so much extra drama added that has no added value to the plot. Don’t read this I only started because it was free. Don’t waste your time.

Awesome novel. Truly a gem for me.What I like most about it is that the MC doesn't dependent on his superpowers. Neither is he defined by them. Just his intelligence alone is enough. Finally an MC that uses his brains more than his brawns. Even when the situation calls for brawns, he doesn't disappoint.Though some of the MC's actions are controversial and you might not agree with them, at the end of the day, you can't help but be impressed by them. Surely a novel that would get you hooked.
At first I thought this wasn't going to be that great of a LN. After reading the first several chapters I really wasn't all that into it due to some lame parts of the story. HOWEVER after chapter 40 it became much much better and became a LN that keeps me wanting more to read. It really did change into a much better story from chapter 40 up to the current translated chapter 75. I really do suggest to give it a good read.
