I truly adore this novel, particularly the male lead! He's adorable, and their interactions are hilarious! Although the translation isn't perfect, it's still enjoyable with some effort. The story is drama-free, filled with lots of heartwarming moments. I'm eagerly looking forward to reading more! ????
Well writing style was good and worldview and some concepts and colourful characters. But I went in expecting a fun filled adventure, kingdom building, power up novel. But this one ehhhhh... It's tragedy filled jungle xianxia. Where Mc is the supposed chosen one, who gets randomly abused by higher tier creature, confused about his goal, overly dramatic. Author is trying to make readers feel bad about mc's past, death of some no named characters and so on. It's just not for me... I dropped it around 170 chaps. But sure go ahead if you are into it. It's incomparable to an art like chrysalis.
It was. Most of chapters are now from a very good translator.
Not a mistake I skipped forward to see what kinda weird shit this series gets into and was confused because nowhere in the description does it say bodies are taken. And it seems like the story starts after chapter 24. . . I'll just read the manhwa and if I like it I'll come back to the novel. . . flamescans will translate it when it's released.
Translation is terrible.
I have watched the show then promptly bought the physical novel. After being unable to reread it(relatively new to novels so I was slow as and bored), I stopped. Then I tried to read this once and that was lost to the great reset. Then I tried again to yet another failure due to it being the 4th time I had covered that part. After yet another I am here for luck number 6. Wish me luck…
If you like cliché "writing" this is for you. Otherwise stay away from it got anger isuess just from reading 15 chapters.
Just any xianxia anything you can recommend that has a good pacing and world building
i don't know why the rating is so low, but i had seen the anime and it was very nice
(ps: i don't know if there is any differences from the anime)
have read it as well i a really good read i enjoyed the story only the ending is a bit rushed but,my friend,i hope you enjoy the world of magic and bloodlines!
You can try 'Walker of the world"
This was absolutely delightful. I had such a soft spot for Jiang Dao; his trauma and background made his character incredibly compelling to follow. I just wanted to see him find happiness. The post-apocalyptic setting was also unique—I believe it wasn't a recent apocalypse but a wasteland he was born into, and we can see the lasting effects of that even when he transmigrates into a "safe" world. His dynamic with the male lead, Chu Yinlong, was so engaging; they complement each other perfectly. I also loved the entertainment industry setting—my only quibble is that I wished we saw more of the audience reactions, but that’s just a personal preference.
, 5/5 stars! I highly recommend giving this one a read.
