Besides my review I'll leave this rating system for those that want a quick scale. [Warning] This novel is heavily rushed and basically dropped. While it does have an ending it leaves much to be desired. My review [Pending as of 12/12/23] explains my grievances.

Its a favorite book of mine and the romance part? No romance yet even though the book is 1000+? which is a bummer cuz Im waiting for my ship to sail already. But anyway, the FL in this book is not like any other FLs. So, try it. Maybe you'll come to love Ling Lan like I do.
I just wanna warn people going into this novel; this novel is entirely dog food. There are a lot of elements that don’t make sense and a lot of holes in the plot, but I don’t mind because the fluff is what I’m here for. But! If you want some meaningful story elements and fleshed out worlds/backgrounds, this isn’t it lol. MC can seem childish and dependent, he basically doesn’t do anything and I kinda love it. But that’s my personal opinion.It’s all just fluff. If you want more, skip this.

yall dis good n plot is good but aint it feel a lil too much when her resolve keeps being talked about? like every chapter it mentions something along the lines of "blah blah blah difficulties is something she doesnt avoid in order to become a frontline soldier and don a military uniform" smt similiar like that 😩 like i luv me sum strong fl that works hard for their goals but they compliment n mention her goals + resolve sm that its starting to get to a point where its getting annoying n cringey (chap 500+) 😖 like wheres the struggle sis
