I like the idea kill the evil men take the women hahaha
It's hard to put into words, but the author has masterfully blended a popular cast to create a unique narrative that captivates readers (in a positive way). The story's appeal lies in its compelling nature, taking it to a higher level in my opinion. It avoids the extremes of either being overly serious with no charm or having a simple plot in shorter works, often relying on clichés. 'Turning' strikes a delightful balance – it has a serious plot, light-hearted moments, and well-executed smut that grows satisfying due to its slow-burn nature. Even without frequent explicit scenes, the depth of their connection through dialogue alone is touching.
What sets 'Turning' apart is its expansive plot, spanning thousands of chapters without losing sight of its central goal. The storytelling is consistent and flawlessly executed, with sagas ranging from 120 to 350 chapters, offering readers an immersive experience. The plot revolves around toppling hostile dukes and replacing them with their friendly offspring, solidifying loyalty to the Emperor faction, which includes the main characters.
The characters are well-rounded, each playing a significant role without feeling like cardboard cutouts. World-building is impressive, falling somewhere between detailed and manageable. One minor criticism could be that occasionally, the pace slows down with interludes or mini-arcs, lasting 10 to 40 chapters, but it's a minor quibble.
The main characters are integral to the story's success, driving the plot forward as mature individuals without unnecessary love triangles. They focus on saving the world and preventing tragedy, making for an engaging read. The depiction of their intimate life is realistic and not treated as a rare event, which I appreciate.
In summary, 'Turning' is a story I adore and believe deserves all the praise it receives. If you haven't tried it, consider supporting the author by purchasing chapters from Ridibook – it's a treat you won't regret.
The initial setup seemed promising and amusing, which is why I entered with high hopes for a fun experience. However, the lack of coherence was laughable; she claims to have one goal, yet her actions defy logic, turning into a hilarious mismatch.
Try reading The damned demon, it's a revange novel with decent amount of romance and well written SEGGS. I liked it quite a lot.

"would Merlin become the greatest Grand Wizard of all time?"
It's at the end of the description
Anyone know of a similar novel but with magic, powers etc?
I really thought highly of this novel at first because of the comedy and the mysteries about the mc's past, but it became boring suddenly and also disappointing (for me). At first, you will notice how black bellied the 3brothers are and it's okay(because it's funny) but until the league only, because the MC and Lin Le suddenly became like another person and I think the author work too hard at the comedy that he exaggerated it too much, just like how the MC doing perverted things with innocent look at girls, but explained that he's always like that, but he isn't even doing it before the league when he met some girls and what's too much is about how the author made Lin Le really too childish. Although I really want to know the mc's past, but I can't bear reading it anymore. (I stopped at 600+)
yes it got adapted to a manhwa (korean comic).
if you drop this then you are gay.......
