After 200 chapters in a span of a week, I have so many thoughts about this webnovel that I made an account just to write this review. I'm reading the novel through Google Translate, so it isn't the best experience, but I correct things in my head as I go.
If you can't tell already, it is a very, very slow burn (with up to 266 chapters at the time of writing this review) and there is a lot of pining. One thing I really love about the novel is reading the characters' thoughts. The point of view switches between Miyagi and Sendai-san every few chapters, which gives a much livelier perspective.
I will say that the foot-licking scene initially put me off, but I understand why the author included it. Miyagi ordering Sendai-san to lick her feet is the ultimate test of how far Sendai-san is willing to go to follow orders for 5,000 yen. It's meant to deter Sendai-san, yet she still follows through because of their 'contract.'
The buildup is slow in the first 70-ish chapters, but you can definitely see them growing closer. After 100 chapters or so, I couldn't stop reading with a huge grin on my face.
Miyagi and Sendai-san's relationship is one I really feel. The innocence of two girls hanging out, evolving into a deep connection where they can't live without each other, is something I really love in yuri/shoujo ai.
NOEL is an enchanting flirt, a delightful and wholesome individual, and a devoted husband. The review below contains some misconceptions, as the family did not raise Riel as a caregiver due to strategic reasons, not out of stupidity. In fact, they were being cautious for their own safety.
About RIEL, her initial shock and fear upon discovering her true heritage are portrayed realistically. She struggles with the fear of losing Irene, who is her sole source of support. The dynamics between characters, including the fake Chase parents and the envious maids, create a complex web of emotions.

Well i don't care what others say they have their own preferences but I don't like the fmc and because of it i already dropped it.

The FL's likability is lacking. She didn't inherit memories, relying solely on her limited knowledge from books and maidservants, which makes her seem unprepared. She should've done more research to grasp her situation better and find reasons behind OG's actions, instead of resorting to hasty, desperate, and cringe-worthy methods. Her constant preoccupation with being hated is irrational and off-putting.
The original FL comes across as foolish. Her communication with ML is subpar, and she lacks problem-solving abilities. It's difficult to empathize with her, considering her lack of foresight – she acted without consequences for four years. If someone else had done the same, they would've faced severe repercussions. The ML's behavior isn't entirely his fault; he was attracted to the OG and consummated their marriage, which was common during their time. His initial awkwardness is understandable given their shared history, but his interest seems shallow.
While the artwork is visually appealing, I personally don't appreciate male leads with lipsticks in the story.
