Soo glad she's going home with Lee! I adore Grayson but I like how much Scar tries not to fall for Lee and continues doing it. I know his father is gonna be awful! Great last chapters love!
love the writing style. it's really good. love the plot too. love your characters. this is a great book......
I just finished these chapters and I'm still buzzing. The pacing is absolutely perfect. Let me tell you why. The chapter opens with Meng Wan waking up before dawn, already in motion. No slow buildup, no 'it was a dark and stormy night' nonsense. He's up, he's working, he's making tofu. The author doesn't waste a single sentence on exposition—we learn about their situation through action. Meng Wan instructing Chang Jinhua about the poisonous brine, the careful filtering process, the first successful batch. It's all shown, not told. Then the market scene hits and the pace quickens. They're rushing, setting up, dealing with the rival seller, selling out. The author uses short, punchy dialogue and quick scene transitions to create this sense of urgency and momentum. And then—bam—Song Tingzhou returns and the whole rhythm shifts. The gossiping villagers, the drunk uncle, the busy Chang Jinhua who doesn't even notice her nephew. It's like the camera pulls back and we see the bigger picture. The structure here is basically: creation → competition → consequence. Three acts compressed into what feels like a single day, but the weight of it stretches across the whole narrative. The author knows exactly when to slow down (the tofu-making process) and when to speed up (the market, the village reaction). There's no dragging, no rushed sections. Every scene earns its place.
Absolutely a work of art. I can't wait to read more. I also want to thank the translation team and the author for this wonderful gift. Thank you so much, and keep it up! ??❤
I absolutely loved it! The pacing was excellent, with a well-developed and healthy relationship between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML). The plot was well-structured with no glaring inconsistencies, and the concept was unique. The premise revolves around the MC dying and reincarnating into a novel world, where they must complete system tasks to return to their original world. Initially, their role was that of an evil master, but they later took on various other roles such as best friend and savior.
The story takes inspiration from "Scum Villain" and explores a fascinating "what if?" scenario involving the supporting characters Bing-ge and Bing-mei. It's a fresh take on the transmigration and system genre, as it addresses questions about out-of-character (OOC) actions in a thoughtful and innovative way. The novel cleverly unravels that everything is part of a bigger scheme, with the main system seeking energy from the main world through the controlled lives of transmigrated individuals.
The MC and ML's relationship evolves beautifully, with realistic progression and a nuanced emotional journey. They don't instantly forgive or forget past events, which adds depth to their connection. The treatment of Pei Xiaoming, the wolf cub, as a beloved family member adds warmth to the story.
The ending satisfactorily wraps up the narrative, allowing readers to explore the MC and ML's world in their original context. Overall, this novel stands out for its engaging plot, well-developed characters, and the exploration of themes surrounding OOC behavior. I highly recommend it!
This is an exceptional narrative; each character is expertly portrayed. The plot begins lighthearted and leisurely, but gradually unfolds into a deeper complexity. The growth of the romantic storyline is both genuine and captivating. I wholeheartedly endorse it. Don't forget to support the author and the translator, who does an outstanding job.
Nahh not master hunter K. MHK has that whole thing about going up through levels and the MC was forming a team to defeat that hard boss at the top of the tower iirc. It was a different idea. I’m pretty sure I’m thinking of smth else
What level power is he now ? Can he outclassed Goku now .
I hoped someone made a wiki out of it
Why's there still no update?
No, in fact, Mc wants a girl so bad but no girl likes him that it’s kinda pathetic
What makes me the most sad/mad is that the whole original concept of buying buildings to expand your territory literally gets abandoned later on
What happend why ntr?
