It's a great story. It reminded me of my first book on the other platform. The alternative world is one of my favorites. I love your story honestly. I've been through the first six chapters and it's really incredible. I hope you can adjust the chapter lock because it's such an cliff hanger for me
I need to talk about the scene where Si Junni promises to grow her healing ability to the seventh tier so she can regenerate Wu Laohu's arm. I literally gasped out loud. Because we as readers know something Si Junni doesn't — or at least, something she's choosing not to fully process. The text explicitly tells us that not even an eighth-tier Healing Awakener can regenerate that arm. It was severed by a Void Colossal Beast and the foundation is damaged. It's gone. Forever. And yet Si Junni makes this promise with such genuine, tearful sincerity. She looks at this man who lost an arm fighting monsters to protect humanity and she says "I will find you and make your arm grow back." And Wu Laohu — this battle-hardened veteran who's seen everything — he just smiles and says "Alright, I'll wait for you. Keep it up, kid!" He knows. He absolutely knows it's impossible. But he doesn't crush her. He lets her have that hope. That's not just kindness, that's the kind of love a mentor gives a student who reminds him why he fights in the first place. And the text says Wu Laohu was "filled with endless emotion" while touching his empty sleeve. Endless emotion. Not sadness, not regret — emotion. Because this child believes in him so completely that it makes all the sacrifices worthwhile. Then there's Zou Wenshu, who nearly cries when Si Junni tells him he should rest and sleep without worry. This man has been running on fumes, his brain burning from overuse, and someone — literally someone — just acknowledged his suffering out loud. In public. To his face. I think that's actually more powerful than any romantic subplot could ever be. Sometimes the most devastating emotional moments are the ones where someone finally sees you.

Really loved reading this book. And the persistent love of the ML to the FL. But when I see how many chapter there is...eish! I just know these 2 won't have a good time any time soon and the FL will most probably suffer a lot

Natasha had to endure too much, and Liam is awful. I appreciate the alternative ending. I think both endings were good, and it was nice to have it both ways.
