The title seemed to suggest a Yandere theme, but upon reading, it turned out to be quite different. The protagonist and love interest didn't exhibit any Yandere behavior; their relationship was straightforward and loving. There were no typical Yandere moments like jealousy or possessiveness, which was surprising given the name. It was a cute, straightforward story, perfect for a single read, but lacked depth and memorable elements.
As for the Yandere aspect, I had hoped for more, but it fell short. I'd rate the story itself a solid 4 for its charm, but considering my initial expectations, I would give the Yandere content a mere 0.5. Overall, a decent read but not what I was looking for in terms of Yandere themes.
The theme of this novel revolves around the idea that scoundrels like Wenxu Jiang truly deserve their demise. It's both thrilling and, in a disturbing way, incredibly satisfying. Readers who have experienced the emotions of frustration, sorrow, and rage while reading "The Decade of Deep Love" or "The 10 Years I Love You Most" can relate to those feelings when encountering Wenxu Jiang. They empathize with the protagonist, Ze Shu He, as he faces hardships, and feel for the kind-hearted second male lead whose fate is unjust.
The animosity towards Wenxu Jiang reaches a boiling point, leaving one只想让他狠狠地被教训。This novel, despite sharing a similar premise, offers a vastly different narrative. Here, the main character is a force to be reckoned with. As the story unfolds, it serves as a cathartic remedy for the读者，healing the pain from the tumultuous love story between Wenxu Jiang and Ze Shu He.
None taken. Indians are extremely conservative, so flirting is a foreign concept to most of us. So, the author made those cringe stuff cause he had no experience of it in real life.
