Synister
Hello, Author Claws here (Ps, Taylor). I know my Synopsis doesn't add a lot of what is exactly happening story wise, so after 371 chapters; here we go.
Ruby: Reborn as 14-year-old girl, wakes up to see that all she knew has changed; and not for the good. No one recognizes her, or what the Upfront has done to protect them. The remaining few Kids that are alive are treated worse than animals. As for the people, she meets the Heartchilds, who are willing to take her in, but as her memories flood back, she says to herself that she is not going to waste this second life she has been giving. On a track to clear up her past and make new friends along the way, she will learn what true trust is, and how far people are willing to go for something they themselves don't even know where it ends. Will Rubys newfound friends be the break she needs, or will they just hold her back from her true purpose?
This story is setup as a fantasy life story. The technical term is fantasy progression, or age progression, but I like life story. Sounds so much cooler, and easier to learn. For everyone who says geez, it takes 26 chapters to end a day; that is the truth. 26 chapters; 26 letters; a lesson to be learned everyday. If it seems like the next day is just a recap of the day previous, or the newspapers and characters discuss what just happened, then surprise. That is what this is. No single character is going to miracously learn everything all at once. The chapters are shorter, yes; because Web novel says if you want to be a novelist; you need long filler chapters in order to keep people happy. I say, no you don't. Their are days where Ruby is battling monsters, and then other days where she is just hanging out with Darius and her new friends, either attending a bake sale, or a runathon; or something. Cause that is why she came back. To live anew, but with all these memories; she knows she has to leave, but doesn't want to.
Plan is to write this series until the day I die hopefully. 5-8 chapters a day. Or, until Darius turns 60 some :) Thoughts? Should I continue this story, or leave it on the shelf? And sorry for feeling like I abandoned AOH. AOH is completed. Don't want to ruin it further; and the characters have already gone from present, to future, to past, and back to a new present. It would just be repeating scenes at this point, with new arcs. Hope you understand. Questions, comments, thoughts, and concerns are very welcome, so please. *Huge virtual hug*
"While others were struggling for clothes and food with their initial pet beasts, Macky was building the playground for his 100th pet beast."This sentence summarises the novel. Change a few words in this sentence, and you'll know just how unoriginal this novel is. So unoriginal it may as well be copy and pasted. The only change? Protagonist's name has been changed...
Something that stands out in this novel compared to the rest is the use of complex vocabulary. It gives it a sort of "fancy" edge to it which I personally enjoy. The only slight problem is the occasional grammatical errors however they are not to the point where the novel becomes unreadable. One last thing, I'm a bit confused on the uploading schedule but its a good novel so I'll be bias and give a full 5 star review.
Hi! This is Ada, an editor of the international Suspense/Thriller Writing Contest I. I see great potential in your book, but your book is so underrated here. Thus, I invited you to join the contest a week ago. Please reply to me. Let’s discuss in detail.
I love this novel. Story, characters, setting etc are entertaining and plot moves at a good pace. I see comments about Author allegedly plagiarizing some others words. Frankly I did not notice any of that. Perhaps author can comment about being inspired by the various sources and encourage readers to check out the source work.
Author san, please do not let this stop you from continuing your work. We are looking forward to see how this story ends and how protagonist keeps harem all together ultimately.
I'm glad to find this little gem of a novel really tired of the same old blunt heroe trope really like the characters so far looking forward to more.
Did they publish the wrong webnovel? the content is not at all related to the title and synopsis. Instead, it is about this dude who became a chaos dragon to fight for survival and create a divine realm...
Reminds me of scholar’s tech system a bit I hope it goes in that direction….
This novel is actually cool? funny ?and interesting. Even though I just started. The novel make senseI also like the writing style... and the way you design the mcTry to upload more chapters
Good story but mc is a complete idiot. Dies, goes back in time with knowledge to prevent a horrible future. Does very little to stop it. Has amazing powers but uses them like a tool. Has soooo many chances to fix the future but like an idiot, only does the bare minimum to save his own family. But does a horrible job at it
A child of a bad family trying his best to make the best of his new life. I wonder if we will ever meet his old family that he lost. So sad he lost so much and putting up with more as time goes on and doing everything to keep the peace. Def a page turner! * // *
Guys, you need to relax and cut the author more slack on his first good novel. I love the concept of this world, and the world background building is utterly astounding. I also love the characters and actual story arcs with them. It doesn't make sense you guys don't care about the characters since there is honestly no guarantee darkness will spare them. Now for the criticism, this story gets 3.8 stars. I feel like the stability of updates should be a little better, maybe like a stable chapter every 2 days. Also, the novel's pacing is a little too fast and in the beginning, Thomas feels more like the main character than darkness. The romance between Darkness and Darkness simply doesn't make sense and feels extremely forced. There was no development to explain how she's there, It's also explained multiple times it's not in Darkness' nature to feel the romance. Yet, for some reason with absolutely no development, Mc meets the 'previous Darkness' and she loves him to bits as soon as she comes in. Also, the grammar is good but the punctuations and commas need to be more focused. Also, the wording in the sentences could use a bit more work in my opinion.
