I already finished The legendary mechanic long ago but quite sad by the ending. It is both good but I felt like it could had been more plus some parts felt rushed but seeing how strong he already is it's acceptable... could had been more...
I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging this CNovel turned out, despite its extensive length. Once the connection between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML) was established early on, the pacing picked up nicely. The story accurately reflects the synopsis, as MC consistently exudes coolness across various worlds.
Here's a brief overview of the different realms:
1. During the initial binding with System He'er, MC explores 31 unique worlds, which include ghostly encounters, interstellar adventures, zombie scenarios, vampire tales, xianxia settings, beast worlds, primitive societies, angelic and demonic realms, ancient Chinese farming, and more.
2. MC's original plane: A starting point where the story begins, and MC is still learning how to maintain composure.
3. ML's original plane (spoiler): MC's first foray into this world, where they were initially unsure of their cool demeanor.
4. He'er's world: Visited briefly towards the end.
5. Various other worlds mentioned briefly before the MC's bond with He'er.
The main focus of the story revolves around MC's compassionate treatment of ML, while also playfully teasing both the original ML and MC, providing humorous moments for readers like myself (since I translated it, you might notice the touch of humor).
This novel is pure comedy gold! I switched off my critical thinking before diving in, but I still found the plot absurdly random. The female lead's overpowered nature was already laughable, but the chemistry between her and the male lead pushed it to a whole new level. It's hard to fathom how they even met, let alone fell for each other instantly. His persistence despite her constant rejections just doesn't ring true, he must have some hidden motive, right? Hilariously, it's like she has a Mary Sue glow around her.
Despite the illogical bits, I have to admit, I found myself entertained by the sheer ridiculousness of it all as I kept reading. So, despite my head spinning, I'm giving this book five stars because it consistently provided a much-needed dose of laughter and unexpected surprises.
I thoroughly enjoy the narrative, particularly the MC's thought process and his purity, as well as the dynamics of the supporting characters. However, one area that could use improvement is the pacing. I would appreciate if the story delved deeper into the protagonist's school life, exploring his friendships, and the various activities he engages in. Despite this minor suggestion, the story is indeed commendable.
Im reading like 6 novels at the same time but some days they dont upload chapters so I need something to read in between. Also its diffucult to find a great novel like this one. Unfortunately, I dont know what happened to the author that he isnt uploading anymore ?
