well it's pretty good and the character development is quite smooth if you're a fan of romance that doesn't get too much in the way of the story the this is for you buh tbh I don't like romance themed books so am off but I have to say this was a good read
The synopsis is a lie. The MC didn't regress in time, there were no multipliers either, instead it's an enhancing system.As for the story itself, it's very slow paced from the first few chapters, mostly on the worrying views of the MC himself regarding his environment.

Translation is subpar at best. Qi becomes Aura and then Qi again. Mc name's also change from Lin Tian to Lin Tianchao. Technics change name from Tigger collapsing fist to Lake collapsing fist. This is just in the few firsts chapter. It's the first time I see such a bad translation for a trial read.

Sorry dropping the novel at this point
when i read about the children i thought you were adding depth to the novel, letting him have a family of sorts to develop the backstory. I ignored all the obvious plot armor because the overall story was interesting enough to continue and wonder about what will happen next
However now i realised his family just turned out to be convinenr sidekicks to go slay the monster king, i feel this novel is very superficial and shallow, the way everything just falls into place for him is very boring and also kinda disgusting to read about.
Finally why is he even a imp or demon when most of the time you make him out to be some kind of mr. nice guy...... Did u think a nice demonic imp is interesting? I think at the start it was interesting to see his reaction but later on he turns into such a bland generic human that i feel confused for you the author, u have forgotten the demonic part or monster part of your own main character.
So this are the 2 main complaints i have about this novel. Thank you for all the interesting chapters so far.
I do not mind cliches. Almost everything is a cliche in its own way especially in this genre. Unfortunately, this is not my cup of tea. The FL is weak. The ML is horrible. Part of what attracted my attention to this novel was the description that the ML was caring. B.S.The ML has effectively kicked her out of the house, stalked her, forced her into a corner to where no matter how much she cries and demands that she does not like him makes her have a relationship with him, blackmailed her and has put her into a situation to where if she tries to escape he has basically threatened to ruin her life. This is not caring. This is abuse. Nobody deserves that treatment.It does not matter that he never became physical with her. She is abused and abuse can be way more than just physical. She is being verbally, sexually, psychologically, emotionally, and financially abused. Abuse is abuse. Never settle for abuse.
I have read nearly 700 ch of this novel and all i can say is this novel is one of the best if not the best novel out there.-the characters and the world background are properly fleshed out, you can tell that the author has done some really good research on locations, folklore and co.-mc has no harem, he only has his wife and adopted children-really refreshing and diverse abilities which follow a logical consistency for all characters -mc is coolheaded, doesn´t save everybody, he calculates the danger his actions mean for his companions and he screens ( with his ability) the savee if they are worth it to be saved or he gets paid for it-mc believes in equal exchange ( doesnt do shit for free)-he strengthens his family so they can protect themselves ( massiv plus point)-writing quality is good better than 90% of the other novels out there, there are still some grammatical and spelling errors. The author uses his and her right (balsam for my poor soul)-and the most important of all : IT IS NOT REPETITIVEgive it a try its a really good and sometimes funny read sry for the engrish, its not my first language ( same for author)
