A good story ruined by Harem, and especially by the background building based Chinese Mythology. It might be good for Chinese, but for others it's like an outsider listening to jargons gibberish that you can't make head from tail. It keep growing and growing while the MC does less and less amusing things until it really ruined this story for me.
This is one of the most unique and interesting Novels I’ve read. The power system is different and characters feel more than cardboard cutouts, and the story Also flows in a way that it doesn’tdepend on cliches and plot devices. Unfortunately it’s almost as if the story is too unique. It has too much going on at one time that it becomes confusing, in the first 10 chapters you don’t know if it’s going to be a generic urban fantasy or a sci-fi drama. It overwhelms the reader with to many components of the story at the same time. I think the author focused too much on trying to be different that he/she bit off more than they can chew and it becomes confusing. For the first chapters of the story, it feels like there isn’t a plot and thing just happens; so as a reader and hard to follow the story. The reader isn’t allowed to infer what’s going on in the story and understand the emotions of the MC and other characters because the author jus tells us, it’s almost as if we are not reading story but a summary of things that happened. In conclusion I fell the author bit more than he can chew and didn’t give a chance for the plot to flow naturally. Oddly enough I kinda wish the author took a more cliched and generic approach and build upon it so we can, as readers can understand the story better. Sometimes it’s better to take a well trodden path and build on it than to build your own and forget to enjoy the scenery on the way. One star all across the board, except for the translation i guess, you'd think with a preview that this trash novel wouldn't get picked over the other contenders. Not much to say, not much suspense, cringe dialogue, the main character does't seem to have a personality outside of whatever chuuni dialogue the author wants him to spew. Very much unlike how some characters from other stories are driven by reason and their own logic. I've read how some stoic main leads who were men of few words, who perhaps justity their lack of action through an internal dialogue, perhaps adopting a darwinian view of the world as a necessay rite of passage for the transition of the new world. What about this MC? Well his explanation is that its becuase they're worms and being good niave cuz bad can save u unlike being good and thats not good and hes right and no question him he has super SSS skill but his class also op and im losing precious braincells and time writing this garbage. Why did that read terrible, and very lacking in thought? That's kind of how this story reads and feels, things just happen and the stats brought up dont really mean anything. So my advice is to just avoid this altogether unless you like actively losing braincells.

I feel like some parts could be written better.I think the cover will probably not draw in as much readers.Overall, it's a good novel, looking forward to more!
