Surprisingly good. I didn't think much of it from the synopsis but this is a funny novel that didn't take itself too seriously. The fact that the demon sect the MC is in seems more mischievous than evil is a plus. Basically, they are more Loki than Red Skull, and it works to the novel's advantage. Don't go in expecting a serious or earth-shaking cultivation novel, and you will be fine.
Shocked to find a hidden gem here. Kind of reminded me "Mother of Learning" with the modern times DnD-like setting. For those who are tired up of recent cliché and copycats tide, this is rare good change.
The trashy novel with trash Translation quality ...☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻☻??
It felt like a typical vampire story at first, but then it turned out to be a time-shift case, idea is kind of uniquely hidden inside the story- and I can feel there is many mysteries hidden inside this plot!
I like the story......................................................................................................................................

(301) Very underrated! The beginning is rather underwhelming, with a setting of a world full of the common Eastern Fantasy. The Martial cultivation is so spread that it is used in what seems like boring everyday life and is presented much less majestically than in renowned fighting series. Pacing also feel slow for a long time. That being said, the story and everything in it constantly improve, exhibiting a broader picture that is carefully thought of. It's still not just about fighting, but the rest is just as fascinating and the comedy on point.I can keep saying a lot of how I bit by bit starting viewing this light novel as the hidden gem of Chinese fantasy light novels, but I think I said enough and from here can only recommend others to give it a patient chance.
This novel is No doubts the best written translated CN novel out there , although there is cultivation it by no means make the MC a one man army .This novel focus more on the interactions between the MC and the Highly interesting and intriguing cast of characters , making it depends more on wit and cunning rather than brute force like most otger CN novels with a very nice and fitting world background. Please take in consideration that this is rather the slow paced novel since story starts out from MC child days .Overall this is a great novel and for those of you averse to the harem tag , Fear not the harem is extremely well implemented and nothing feels more natural nor it is forced with unrivalled beauties wanting the MCs babies left and right.
The cover is great, Tim of China, or 中国 Tim. Oh, hello, officer. Is that a nightstick in your pocket, or are you happy to see me? Nice guns, you want to show them off?
