Always crazy for ur books, i have seen novels of other authors one related to another eventhough they are stand alone, but mostly the plot will repeated, after 3 novels i will get fed up, but i donno how ur doing this, its really awesome to read, may be its ur plots, language, the way u portrays

This was a good book. ended very weirdly but if there might be a book 2 happening then its understandable. can't wait to hear. wonder if one of the twins will be with Caleb. kinda sad she lost her wolf and couldn't be given a plain wolf.

No warm-up, no exposition dump—just immediate competence and the other character's disbelief. Hook established in the first paragraph. Then we get the debate about whether to rearrange. This could have dragged. It could have been three pages of internal monologue. Instead, it's tight, punchy dialogue with Cheng Yang's philosophical aside about the stage being cruel and fate being decided in "those few minutes"—and then he makes the call. Boom. Decision made. We're moving. The Wen Jiuyi snack scene is the breath between tensions. It's funny, it's character-building, it gives us a moment to exhale before the next wave. And then—CUT TO—the law firm. A completely different tone, a different location, a different kind of stakes. The author is using contrast as a pacing tool here, and it works beautifully. Back to Gu Nanci pulling an all-nighter. The self-teaching-the-software bit could have been tedious, but it's summarized efficiently and we get the emotional beat of her regretting her workaholism immediately after. The humor of "If she pulls another all-nighter, she's a dog!" keeps it light. And then the finale—the staff walking in and out, the cameraman's POV, the voice description. This is the payoff the entire chapter has been building toward, and the author stretches it out just enough to make it feel earned without overstaying its welcome. The only minor note: the transition between the law firm scene and Gu Nanci's all-nighter felt slightly abrupt. But honestly, in a web novel format, that kind of sharp cut is almost a feature, not a bug. It keeps you scrolling.
Alex is absolute trash. honestly the worst mate I've ever read. he's a cheater and verbally abusive. Ashly deserves better and I pity her character.
