Really enjoying each episode
I keep coming back to the bus scene. Not because it's the most dramatic moment, but because it's the most atmospherically rich scene in these chapters, and I think the author is using it to do something really clever. Let me paint it for you: Fu Chuan, 1.88 meters tall, hands in pockets, looking like 'a comic book hero brought to life.' Shen Shutang, headphones on, novel in hand, youthful beauty with a cold aura. The bus is crowded—they have to squeeze close to each other. And there's this detail I cannot get over: 'Fu Chuan noticed the subtle fragrance in her hair.' That's it. That's the entire romance setup. No grand gesture, no dramatic meeting, just a guy on a bus noticing that the girl across from him smells nice. The worldbuilding here is subtle but effective. We learn about G City No.1 High School through small details—the art room, the professional art classes, the way students react to seeing the aloof school beauty talking to Fu Chuan. The school feels like a real place with real social hierarchies. Fang Kaiwei's family running a department store, Shen being a 'white-rich-beautiful' heiress who still takes the bus—these details build a world where wealth exists but isn't the only thing that matters. The restaurant scene is another quietly brilliant set piece. Shen Shutang walks in, buys an ice cream sundae, sits in a corner, and pulls out her phone. The author doesn't tell us 'she's wealthy' here—we already know from the bus scene. Instead, we see her ordering a sundae and getting lost in her phone, completely unaware that the person she's messaging is ten feet away. The spatial irony of that scene is gorgeous. And the art room—the place where Fu Chuan paints 'a lifelike depiction of a bathing classical Greek beauty' while his teacher watches in shock. This is where we see his talent visually described: 'like a dusty gem suddenly radiating light.' The author uses art language to describe art, which makes the scene feel authentic rather than generic. Even the hospital VIP room gets a mention—'top-tier medical care and her presence'—which tells us everything about the Fu family's wealth without a single exposition dump. The world feels lived-in because every scene adds another brick to it.
So good! I love the romance, action and humor!
really enjoyed this book, can't wait to read your next one
1 thousand plus chapters? This is i turn off for potential new readers. No this author is just in for the money and not for the quality of the story. It’s a BIG NO for me!
I hope she doesn't go back to her good for nothing mate. I am sick of girls being abused and then forgiving the male leads. its bad for girls to romantics abuse.
waiting for the next chapter
I have read every story this author has wrote and she does not disappoint! I cant wait until the next story!
I'm loving this book. I hope it's easy to save Jewles & Aria
So far it is good.
More chapters please.
This is a continuation of my favorite series on GN. Kat & Enrique’s story is what we have been waging for since their tragic childhood encounter.
