This book is one of the best book that I have ever read in this app
keep it up author and I can't wait for the next chapter
I literally gasped when Shen Shuhe realized Lu Yanzhou looked like the man she drunkenly married the day before. Like, the author drops this bomb right as she's climbing those last two steps and I was NOT prepared. Think about the emotional layers here: she's been publicly humiliated, her family is in crisis, she's using this banquet as a desperate play for survival, and then the most powerful man in the room saves her AND looks exactly like her random bargain-bin husband from yesterday? The tension is off the charts. And Lu Yanzhou's reaction when she says "you look very familiar, Mr. Lu"—amusement flickering in his eyes, teasing her with "Is there something on my face?" He KNOWS something. He's definitely hiding something. Meanwhile Jiang Wanqing is absolutely losing her mind watching Shen Shuhe ascend those stairs, and Lu Mingshu is trying to play peacemaker but really just making everything worse by defending her friend. The romantic tension between Shen Shuhe and Lu Yanzhou is building so perfectly and I am HERE for it. Also the fact that she's already calculating how to secure the Lu family's support while simultaneously being flustered by his familiar face? That's a woman who can't catch a break and I love her for it.
This is a nice story to pass the time. It's good enough to read and enjoy. Definitely recommend giving it a read ??. While I didn't enjoy some parts, I did enjoy others. I really hope the ending could have been different, with them meeting each other again.
Absolutely worth translating! This story has deeply resonated with me in various ways. Perhaps it's due to my ongoing reading of "Qingye Supernatural Office," which has a heavier plot, but this book served as a refreshing escape, helping me feel lighter and return to more lighthearted content. It's delightful to watch the main character grow, even with a mature 20-something perspective, as she forms bonds with her siblings and witnesses her fan base expand chapter by chapter. Her chuunibyou (adolescent eccentricities) adds a humorous and endearing touch to her character.
The portrayal of relationships in this story feels authentic and grounded, not overly focused on romance, yet still delivering a sweet and healthy progression. The dynamics between the characters, especially those involving the harem, are well-balanced, avoiding unnecessary complexity that often frustrates in such stories. The author skillfully weaves the characters' backgrounds and motivations, without delving too deeply into villainous motives.
This book is a perfect conclusion for a bright and witty protagonist pretending to be evil, offering a satisfying journey filled with sweetness, laughter, and simple yet effective storytelling. There's no need to over-analyze the straightforward situations or character developments – it's all about enjoying the ride. In short, just dive in and read, as there's no reason to regret this choice.
My *life* options have been exhausted and I need something to fill the empty space.
Thanks
This is one f*ck*d up story... it was still tolerable up untill the gender bender part... I had it enough I'm I'm dropping it... Don't read it if you can't tolarate cringe, gender bender, dumb MC,weard plot...also the r-18 parts of the story is skipped in the story so far i have read.
