The translation was ok in the free chapters, but took a nosedive in the locked chapters. The name of places changed, peoples names changed, the name of the cultivation level changed and so on... So, dropped!
So far, I've read like 400 chapters in this, and I have to tell you, it's really entertaining. However, if you are a person who like to dive deep and go read or find books with amazing plot, I don't think this is for you. Some may think its lack luster. If your not looking for that, then try this out. It may seem boring in the first chapters, but as she get more character cards, she starts to get famous. The MC is sort of manipulative in a way because of her laziness. There are some 'cool' reveal scenarios, wealth, and mystical novel-hoping. It's a really fun read for me, but I do wonder with the YURI tag, is it just because of the Novel-hoping, or is our MC really goin with the yuri route?
I liked how the story is developing by slowly builfing up suspense for the reader and character development for the future.I dont want to spoil so i wont but i suggest reading the auther does a few chapters a day amd it is good
I enjoy how the story is progressing it's interesting. Keep up the goodwork author. Keep writing chapters and don't drop and I will keep on supporting.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
This has been a long time coming can't wait to see what Zent does with this novel after all ToS was great and with the year extra experience under his belt Zent will be able to do a lot better with this one. Still ToS is amazing as well. Anyway I know this is going to be a good one (that will also hurt my coin pouch)
If someone wants an actual short review that has nothing to do with Qidian ****ery here you go. This novel is fantastic. It’s easily in the top 3 of webnovels I have ever read. It’s setting is greatly fleshed out and interesting. Unlike other authors who refuse to fully imagine what the future would look like or those who just leave it as “basically nothing changed except haha realistic VR”, this novel goes all out in its setting. Set in the far future, humans have gone very far, but not unimaginably far (a 'problem' most people have with ScFi). They successfully survived the singularity (though its not mentioned as such) as the super intelligent AI created is on humanity’s side. This is not just a plot point to justify a few events, but she (spoiler) is a real, major character who has character development. The countries of the past have (realistically) either evolved or disappeared and are replaced by new ones. A point to note is while there are people with super natural powers on earth at the beginning of the story, they are not cultivators. The people on earth have powers they were born with that they advanced, not powers that anyone can obtain through hard work. Cultivation is something introduced to humanity from the other world 'game', bolstering humanities combat powers. The MC is from the future, which many readers dislike, but it actually feels like it in this novel. The MC is a genius Engineer who helped humanity evolve there technology to battle against their enemies. He is also an expert in the other world that humanity enters. Now you may think this is very annoying, as he sounds like a protagonist who can do anything. The thing is, he can not. His knowledge of the future only really helps him 3 whole times before future events change too much for them to be of any use. His status as a genius on earth is quickly realized, but future events move forward too fast and prevent him from taking much advantage of his future knowledge, as he is basically forced to carry humanity through events that they were originally supposed to have time to prepare for. This means he is always working very hard and is often barely able to win most battles (he actually struggles). His position as a previous life expert isn't very helpful in the other world either, after a while, as though it does help him be recognized as talented, the many events playing out happen when he is too weak to handle them using his own power (as its a cultivation world), forcing him to plan and scheme. This is a harem novel but the MC isn't an idiot. You can think of him as someone like the MC of tales of demons and gods, but way less dense. He loves the main heroine a lot and proactively tries (and succeeds) in dating her, but he still cares greatly about other the other females around him, his master in the other world and the princess of one of earths major nations. The only real complaint that could be had is that this novel had basically no SoL, he is always doing something and events happen one after another. There is obviously bridges between them, but he doesn't really have points where is relaxing, as he has to manage to worlds and not just one. I would personally prefer for the MC to have some down time where he just sorta hangs out with his friends (who actually exist and are rather important) and girlfriend(s). If you have any questions about the novel feel free to ask as I have read up to chapter 500 on the other site.

Honestly my new favorite and to be clear, while I am no critic and will probably read just about anything, my standards have just been raised dramatically. I started this read a long time ago (stopped right around chapter 5) and only recently picked it up again, thank God I did, because this is the first time I've seen this many genre's and tags, all of which I love, so perfectly blended together. I don't want to start writing to much, both due to this being my first review and me not trusting myself not to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at this. Read a little past chapter 5, if you are like me, you will most certainly understand just the kind of gold mine you've stumbled upon. Have a wonderful read.
The story is almost exclusively told to the readers. Almost 10 chapters were just a slightly altered rehash of the movie. Everything comes too easily. There is (in my opinion) next to no story. I've no interest in the MC as there's nothing relatable. I react more emotionally to all the bashing of corporate greed ruining good games then I do the blank MC. Perhaps the writing improves but I can't tell as of yet. The concept is interesting and may be the saving grace of the whole thing. As long as you're alright reading a story that's told to you and are more interested in the idea of the story than good writing this can be an okay read. Personally I'd love to read this once it is rewritten though I don't think that'll happen.
the novel is not bad but I think most of these reviews are praising it too much. it's definitely not for everyone. I feel like people have just been inundated by trope after trope and thus think that this novel is God tier for simply not having so many tropes.people will argue that the mc is "overly cautious" and not "cowardly". personally the mc was taking the whole cautious thing too far to the point of being cowardly. being cautious is good but the mc was being too cautious. I mean his disciple gets captured and beat up for years and, after the disciple is freed at the end of the war, the mc straight up admits that he was too afraid to save his disciple.another thing I'll note is that, while less than other cultivation novels, this novel still suffers from a repetitive plot. but imo, basically all cultivation novels suffer from this so it's not really a bit dealbasically, if you like this kind of novel, cool. if you don't, also cool. I just got bored and slightly annoyed by the progression.
One of the Best novel i have read on this app This novel has the beat character development and one of the unique plot i have ever read Keep the good work author.
