Did u even bothered about ... aloud what u wrote prior 2 publishing this ... on this platform 4$?R u simply translating this story from another language? Because this 4 sure can’t be original with so many grammatical errors & incorrect/incomplete sentences. There’s no way I can support nor recommend t
This book deserves to have no rate. Everything is poor.

I need to talk about the scene where Xiang Dagen and his wife finally have a real conversation in that west room. After twenty years of separation, after all the letters and the silences and the assumptions on both sides — and then this moment where he finally understands what she's been through. He's sitting there, rubbing his calloused hands on his pants, and his nose starts tingling. Just a hint of tears. Not dramatic crying, just this quiet, manly, "I have no words for how much I regret not knowing." And she tells him about the fever, about how the kids took turns dipping cloths in water to bring her temperature down, about how Pear Blossom borrowed copper coins from Widow Dong. Twenty years. Twenty years of her suffering in silence because she didn't want to damage his reputation as a filial son. The line that absolutely wrecked me was when she says: "It's also my fault. Out of respect for filial piety, not wanting you to lose your good reputation as a filial son, I kept all these things in my heart." She protected HIM. After everything THEY endured. And then he hugs her and says something that broke me: "Look at you, you've lost even more weight compared to the last time I saw you." Twenty years and she's thinner. He's been serving in the army thinking he was providing, and meanwhile his own family was starving. The guilt on his face — I could see it. The way he calls himself "blinded by pig fat" — that's not just self-deprecation, that's a man confronting the blind spots in his entire life. And yet, in the middle of all this pain, they're still holding each other. That's the kind of love that doesn't need grand gestures. It just needs two people finally telling the truth to each other.
