Pretty interesting premise here, not sure I've seen a novel with a glitching system before. The universe presented is also incredibly creative, filled to the brim with interesting powers. If you're a fan of system novels, then this is a really unique take on them and I couldn't recommend it enough!

Although there are some info dumping in the synopsis, I was able to tell what's going on and what the story would be about.Grammar: 4/5 Grammar wise, this novel is so much better than 90% of the novels in here. There aren't any sentences in this novel that would suddenly changed it tenses midway so I'm happy about this.Writing: 4.8/5. Story wise and the writing structure is mesmerizing. I have been thoroughly impressed by author's unique way of storytelling and I can't wait to read more.Overall: 4.8/5. Would I recommend this novel to you? Legitimately one of the worst things I've ever read. The author constantly messes up their own numbers, changing the ranks of things willy nilly.The story was supposed to be about alchemy, but the author quickly makes the MC perfect at literally everything. Magic, strength, alchemy.The author constantly hammers in how hard it is to fight above your level, yet the MC's alchemical creatures are consistently able to fight 1-2 levels above themselves with extreme ease. Adding on to this, the MC makes a potion to make himself a 3-star expert, but is able to overpower a 5-star expert. How? Bad writing, that's how.Why is it so easy to obtain legendary alchemy materials? Everybody and their grandmothers seem to have a least tier 6 alchemy materials. The materials always have some sort of mythical story behind it, but then the MC magically has 5 more. It's ridiculous.Everything is constantly measured in the cost of gold coins, despite how very very obvious it is that the monetary system is completely made up and the numbers thrown around are entirely random.I'm angry I've wasted any iota of my time on this sack of actual rotting garbage.
I figured I should write a review as this may possibly be my favorite xianxia.The quality of the writing is superb, the story is deep especially for a xianxia.The story is written with a 'western' perspective as the MC is the classic reincarnated/transported from the 'real' world into the xianxia world but he is a westerner rather than chinese, this if nothing else is fresh and it does mean the references is more understandable for western readers.I don't want to spoil the story so I'll just say it avoids, so far, tropes that I am well and truly tired of like cardbord cut out characters. Probably why I actually like this so much is that, the characters feel real and not just like an NPC with 2 lines and no substance.Praying everyday for updates, thank you LivingSpoon for writing this.
anyone have recommendations for more novels like this I love the slow slice of life clan building novels, or just a refreshing cultivation novel.

Great read, well worth the time. Fast paced, action story right out of the gate! Loved the card tricks! Characters are likeable. Great use of description whilst continuing the flow of the story. Everything was geared towards that fast pace set in the beginning with a great hook.
Great book! Hands down. One of the all-time greats! Between “Shadow Hack,” “RSSG,” and one other this ranks in the top five! Definitely worth every SS, **, comment, review, and reading.
