We thank you for your sacrifice
I read this one a while ago, but never bothered to post.
The MC is far from being intelligent and the ways the author tries to imply that he is is baffling. OH MY GOD! He told the skellies to dodge instead of blocking! GENIUS!
The game itself is generic, and the things that are not generic about it, you can immediately tell how hard the author was trying to come up with something new, unsuccessfully in my opinion.
The items are completely boring and generic, even more so than items from real life MMOs, which is probably some sort of achievement in lack of creativity.
The characters are for the most part generic, dull, and one-dimensional.
It also falls on the same pitfall of every other VRMMORPG novel I've read so far, which is the author having no idea whatsoever of how streaming and content creation works. I say this even in the context of "It's the author's world", because it's very nonsensical.
Sadly, it's still average to above average when it comes to VRMMORPG novels.
Got completely bored out after 1.1k+ ch.
Most of this novel is filled with just mecha tournaments. Author introduced some quite interesting stuffs yet it's barely explored and feels like just a segue for another tournament.
The exact same problem can be found in "Martial Arts Master" even though the author is different.
the Arthur has a great idea
Even though it is just the beginning, I am eager to read the next few chapters.
Simply give it a shot and see
So my reason for stopping this book is probably not why others would stop reading it and honestly I only made it to about chapter 45 but here’s my take… first the things I like: the first few chapters really drew me in there was a little humor making fun of other novels and cliches along with a decent sense of mystery making me look forward to what was going to happen. I like that the power system off the bat wasn’t the same thing I’ve read a million times. Although a little slow to start you can kind of see the MC struggle with him not actually being the son and instead an invader to this family even if it’s not his choice.. the few battles that we see are decently well written and not to over the top… heres where the book lost me and maybe for some of you this isn’t an issue.. very quickly we find out the MC can,is ,and mostly likely will be in the future unable to control himself and I mean literally someone badically takes over his body and I’m completely uninterested in an MC that may or may not lose his free will or ability to control himself in any form complete turn off now anytime I’m reading I will foreve wonder when it’s gonna happen again and be just as uninterested
Translation is not good....Plot is immersive and story is awesome...World building after chapter 150 is when the real story starts...Give it a read!
I greatly admire this author's creativity. The writer's intentions are clear and the novel has a solid plot. The plot is common in anime and comics but the writer managed to make it very interesting.
However, the story is greatly flawed and plagued by errors from all aspects of English. Grammar, punctuation and capitalization could use some serious work.
Majority of the sentences and names started with common letters and words that were supposed to start with common letters started with capital letters. Person's names, names of places and sentences should begin with capital letters.
The sentences were poorly structured and most of them were run-on sentences. Punctuation marks, especially the comma was misused and end marks were not used at the end of some sentences. When they were used, they were used incorrectly. For example, some questions ended with full stop.
The dialogue in the novel seems a bit too artificial, there were no emotion behind the words and the conversations just didn't come across as realistic.
The story flowed but it was very confusing. The author went from thing to another messily without proper transitions. The wording of some sentences made things even more confusing. It was as if some sentences were missing some words or had the wrong words.
I recommend that the author use Grammarly or Proofreader when writing to get rid of most of the errors.
Overall, the novel has a lot of potential and the author has a very active imagination. The errors are the only draw back since the plot is pretty solid. I hope the author can only get better as they write. [img=recommend]
