This is actually awesome if i could id love to trade places with the main character the story seems promissing and the premisse as well i just hope it keeps getting better
Fellow Pinoy here! Anyway, I've only read a few chapters, but here's my review on it. Things to improve:First off, there is an obvious approach to action and since it's a zombie novel, it is a must to have action-filled chapters. However, although the author does try to execute this, it can fall flat. Maybe it's because there's not much the readers know about Nile himself, or what even drives him. If it is simply for survival, then the narratives and descriptive words should be improved on more to elicit the right emotions.Good points:The author knows where the story is supposed to go, and Nile's actions are logical. It's also interesting to know there are "interesting zombies
I read this novel on mtl before didn't finish it yet, it is harem , cultivation novel.it starts as a business as the mc uses his farm space to make money, later on the farm space evolved or unlocked some features .the novel has some elements of racism but not many and show the dark side of the ppl sometimes.
One thing i can only say.Perfection.This story is good, the MC is so mysterious that I felt like i'm inside the world and that the MC is a real immortal, it's like the author actually experienced 90,000 years of life personally. this novel is unlike any other novel, the plot gives me the slowly building up anticipation and the MC's personality is out of this world, not like an immortal but IS an immortal, we don't need to worship him or respect him. Because he doesn't care. I wish i met the old immortal so that i can experience firsthand what an immortal is like.
This Patriarch honestly cant believe it.. Some people: a wuxia? no op cultivation? no system? Its boring!! And then some others would say: I expected necromancy and some powerful evil cultivation method from the title! 1 star then!! Yes.. they all rated it 1 star because this novel is not what they expected without even reading it. This novel is honestly really good.I wont spoil anything. You can search Death Sutra on NU to start reading it if you want. This book doesnt shy away from all the brutal realities of the world. This isnt the type of world wherin you overpower your opponent with your cultivation, instead you outsmart them poison them, attack when theyre sleeping, anything works. Like all martial arts novel only the strong are respected. Our mc came from a strong martial arts clan.But he doesnt train, hes just spoiled and pampered. His family got assasinated but he escaped only to be caught and sold as a slave to the very clan that assasinated his family. He hid his identity of course and is plotting for revenge. Hes training martial arts now while being a servant. Hes not used to being a servant btw. You think its cliche? Well it doesnt matter. What makes this amazing is its execution. The author mastered the dao of cliffhangers and keeps you at the edge of your seat for most chapters! I definitely recommend this. The world building and character development of this novel is excellent.
Complete garbage I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The plot progresses like the writer wrote this in an examination room and just adds whatever idea that pops up in his head. The character development sucks I have yet to get a clear image of any of main characters. Certain actions /events don't connect well with the entire plot line either that or the author just forgot about that all together. All in all one star is being super generous. Don't waste your time
it seemed like a interesting book and I manage to last 100chapters but then gave up, to read this you need to turn off your brain and ignore 99%things written. the language in the first 36chapters is definitelynot English, as I'm sure a 6 year old can write sentences better. After chapter 36 it actually becomes English but its still written by a 8 year old .. the MC is a weakling with crap growth. he chooses a monster with bad potential just because he didn't want to be tied to an organization, cool thats understandable but then stop b**ching about your weak monster. He picks a technique that is rarely studied as its extreamly painful but it can help you grow much stronger. Totally understandable but within 20-30chapters it becomes as common as dirt. The author has no idea how to explains wounds, in one fight MC had his spine broken yet can still continue fighting without bother. next fight both arms broken yet keeps fighting with no bother at all and even says that the prolonged fight is in his favor. Everyone around MC grows at faster pace than him even though their talents meant to be worse, and everyone babysits him. Also out of no where at all the author decided to add swearing into the chapters which just feels totally out of place. not to mention how the MC is pure h*rndog who can't sleep after seeing a girl in a swimming suit.

I have to talk about how good the dialogue is here because it's genuinely impressive. Every character has a distinct voice, and the haggling scene between Lin Wan and the Lu family is absolutely electric. Let's start with Lin Wan's line: "He ruined my reputation, making it impossible for me to marry. I still need to live. Either you pay me a thousand yuan, or..." That pause. That calculated pause. She's not begging. She's not crying. She's making a business proposition. And then the follow-up: "Or you can have Lu Zhengting take his place as the groom!" The delivery is so cold, so precise. You can hear the smirk in her voice. And Old Madam Lu's response? "Two hundred? You wouldn't fetch half that if we sold you!" This woman is vicious, and her dialogue makes it crystal clear. She's not just a cartoon villain—she's a matriarch who has spent a lifetime surviving in a system that rewards cruelty. The parents' voices are equally distinct. Mother Lin's whispered "Don't let your anger cloud your judgment" shows a mother who is scared but trying to be practical. Father Lin's threats about breaking legs show a man who is powerless but desperate to appear strong. Their dialogue reveals everything about their characters without any narration needed. Even the background characters have voice. Lu Ersao's forced laugh and eager agreement—"Oh, this is wonderful, absolutely wonderful!"—you can hear the sycophancy. The second sister-in-law stepping in as the experienced negotiator shows institutional knowledge. And the narration itself has a voice—wry, observant, occasionally sardonic. Lines like "A talent like him was far superior to Lu Zhengqi! Unfortunately, he was injured in the line of duty" have this perfect blend of information and attitude.
Good storyline but riddled with grammatical errors and a little too drawn out for my liking.
