She is someone who has been alone, and now she is bringing different people into her world, blending their lives together through small acts of generosity. Then there is the price. Five hundred wen per catty for Snowflake Crisp. Aunt Lian hesitates. This is not cheap candy. It is a luxury item. And yet Lin Yuming gives Aunt Lian extra anyway.
