This discovery is quite fitting for my taste, especially considering those who are disappointed with the main character not speaking up for herself. Give it a chance; she eventually stands her ground, and it's an empowering scene. The romantic aspect is also quite appealing. However, I must admit, I don't particularly like the original female lead. As for the father, I have a neutral opinion. Overall, I personally recommend this book as an enjoyable read.
From the outset, it's clear that the author has conducted thorough research into the sport of track and field, which is evident even in the parallel storylines that develop later.
Honestly, it was gratifying to see Su Ze transform from a washed-up idol into a track and field sensation.
This is a typical sports novel, and while not much emphasis is placed on the romance, Shan Xingchen’s quiet support is very endearing.
All in all, the side characters are well-developed, and the sense of anticipation in each competition adds to the enjoyment.
This novel is perfect for a quick read, with no glaring plot holes and a protagonist who isn’t overpowered from the start.
His hard work and determination make this a compelling read.
Definitely would read this again.
Later chapters are ao stupid, mc solution to repelling a strong invader is to invade another stronger realm and take them in as battle potentials. Mothefucker what?? If youre strong enough to invade a faction that is stronger than you, then youre strong enough to repel the invaders no?
Mc is doing the equivalent of:
Ukraine invading USA to steal their technologies to use them to fight back against russia. It sounds so f*ck*ng dumb is it not?
This is such a good well written novel, I never felt so afraid reading about zombies, I guess it's because in other novels the MC already knows what's about to happen, while there's so much suspense and trepidation in this one. I've only read about 15 chapters but I'm already so excited!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaah
does this novel get actually good? i really dislike the concept of VR cuz it breaks the whole immersion which the "cultivation" world could bring lol, everything happening in virtual reality will never be treated "seriously" by me ngl, supremacy games had a nice approach to it tho
