THIS BOOK IS UNDER MAJOR EDITING!! I experienced a severe trauma that left me creatively stumped and I hate that it affected Les and Iris. I'm just getting my mojo back so pardon the errors. All chapters are being edited and fixed at the moment. Thank you for understanding.
saw it online great story hopefully the author has a follow up to the book ,it just needs a bit of editing that's all. I am team Greyson not Jake he comes across like a Wolf in sheep's clothing. Cassie is such a layered character . I like her .
As of May 9th, 2017, I'm up to date with the translations and I must say that the story's quality has been declining steadily. The first volume was excellent, with a dark premise and a unique character. However, it quickly shifted to a lighter tone, which wasn't a deal-breaker for me. The addition of a harem as the protagonist grows stronger and edgier is a common trope in isekai novels, so it didn't bother me much.
What really derailed the story was the repetitive nature of the dialogues between the characters in his harem. While I understand that it's not meant to be taken seriously, constant interruptions of plot progression for arguments among the wives felt forced and disrupted the pacing. The fights became monotonous, reduced to shouting matches and trivial conflicts, which got tiresome after encountering them numerous times. Each chapter turned into a chore to read, as the same patterns of conversations about adoration and rivalries were recycled without much variation.
In summary, while the initial setup had potential, the repetitive nature of the story's content made it lose its appeal for me.
The story is well-written but the editing needs a lot of work. A lot of the chapters are duplicated or completely out of order, so it pulls you out of this awesome story because there's missing chapters early on. I'd recommend it more if it wasn't so confusing to read, especially the two part chapters. Authors/editors should re-check the posted chapters and fix them, it's such a good story it'd be a shame to have it suffer due to such a simple oversight that could be easily remedied.
I absolutely adored it.
Poison testers please help a brother. Is it any good?
I actually love the author other novel
Um it's not bad like i read a lot of comments and try a LN but it was fking horrible like horrible in first chap the MC was talking about licking the girl hair who already has bf and but here is wholesome like whole wholesome just i don't like the harem tag in here i just reach around 70+ chap and i say i only want one woman for this mc and don't read the comments to much they are all nonsense 90% time this novel is not bad so try it
Edit:the translation is bad from chap 100
Really want to read this but I won't be able to remember these long names. Had the same issue with a few Chinese/Japanese/Korean novels where I forget whose who after a few days
Pfft the summary-
"See title for protagonist's mood"
Stuff like this reminds me how different webnovels are from actual printed books haha
The FL are too overbearing and arrogant, tbh put her in the logical situation the outcome will never be on her favour, yet the way the author make it everything smooth is just NG. Kinda find it hard to think if there will be any character development for her. The ML is also too typical and his reason for choosing the FL is also too shallow, not that captivating to follow. Well I do believe someone's who seek a light reading might find it enjoyable to read it tho.
Try to read the 2 chapter i think most people will able to choose whenever it is a cup of tea for them or not, it written quite clear there.
I initially postponed reading this due to the "slice of life" label, which typically turns me off with its perceived focus on mundane food-related content and lack of conflict or plot. Despite its high rating, my initial anticipation was low. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging it turned out to be. The "slice of life" tag might not be entirely accurate based on what I've read so far. The main character stands out from the usual cookie-cutter Japanese protagonists; he possesses a unique charm. What's more, the story doesn't seem to lean towards a harem setup, with the MC having a committed relationship and considering other females as daughters, which is a refreshing change.
Additionally, I must commend the translation quality. It's exceptional, with the MC's quirky, offbeat thoughts translated beautifully. I haven't come across many errors in the text, making it one of the best translations I've experienced lately, on par with "Death Mage who Refuses a Fourth Time."
I myself enjoyed " lord of the world: I became lord of the desert from the start "
