I'm the person who does most of the matinence on them, so when you read that someone had a 'system update' it means I had to screw with time, and take a few years to update the algorithms, do you have any idea how long I've spent on 'updating' these systems? In the end, I'll still have to update it about a year later, because they meet some guy that the system cannot properly judge. The only positive to any system is how we can assign missions, most of the missions from a system come from either the will of the system, or the host's subconscious, but we can also use them to chase down plot holes. Why else do you think some of the missions assigned are so random and arbitrary?
