Okay so this batch is wild because it's basically the origin story of their whole enterprise. Three days, five hundred baskets, and somehow they pull off a legit business deal. The plot here is deceptively simple—collect eggs, sell to factory, split the money—but the tension is built through obstacles. What if the eggs go bad? What if the boat doesn't show? What if the factory rejects the shipment? Every one of those is a potential disaster and the author keeps them hovering just out of frame until the last possible moment. And then there's the subplot with Cao Bingkun that absolutely gut-punched me. It starts as a minor thread—his mom's disapproval, the book-buying detail—and then BOOM, she holds a knife to her own throat. That's not foreshadowing, that's a landmine. The author plants it so casually and then detonates it. I literally had to put the book down for a second. The parallel between Liu Changyun getting beaten by his dad and Bingkun being emotionally hostage by his mom is interesting too—two different flavors of family pressure, both toxic in their own way. And Zhou Yuwei's egg collection arc? The wrapping detail, the 5,500 yuan payout, the split—this is where the business plot crystallizes. They went from "let's try something" to actually making real money. The first pot of gold moment hits different when you've watched them scramble through every village.
It's a good storyline but It still needs some grammatical construction and thorough editing.
