A masterpiece novel ? with a ruthless MC, Du Chan. The character development of our MC from being a wimp to an overpowered guy is just too good.
I just couldn't stop reading this, I was hooked for large parts of the story. It has its faults, but overall a good story. Ending was quite a let down, but I could see it coming. So, all in all, not too unacceptable. It's worth a shot reading..
real synopsis1st it's a like bait there ain't a thing about Summoned beats the profession is nothing near typical summoner it's more of a different ability type profession like mind readers ,telepathy , future sight(works like Google Earth) etc then each ability has to merge with some bead which if successful he lives if not then head explodes and there's 2 more beads to merge with,2nd quite a lot Chinese culture glorification and Nationalism like how some eunich ma discovered American continent and Japan etc countries and how Chinese invented fire which is a bless to rest of the world from them 3rd the whole novel is based of Chinese mythologies so again will be a lot of glorification in future last utterly disappointed in this novel I came for summoner/summoned beasts contract pets sigh but this novel has nothing to do with the word summoner
This story started as one of my all time favorites. It is blessed with excellent and consistent translation quality with regular and reliable updates. In addition, it has entertaining and widely varied character designs, a well designed and detailed world, and a well paced and satisfying story development that always makes me want to read more.Why not five stars then? Well, the author always has a tendency to stretch out descriptions of ****** events into paragraph after paragraph. This was fine before the novel went premium, but now it means wasting 5-10 SS per chapter when it takes 10 chapters for an attack to finish. It's insulting, honestly. So, even though I really enjoyed over 1000 chapters, I'm dropping the novel because it will bankrupt me before we get even halfway through the current arc.

I watched The Rise of Phoenix Tv Series, and I love it (FML and ML is Ni Ni and Chen Kun. Love their acting). I am so happy when I knew that webnovel will welcome it here. Some people said that Novel is much better than TV Series, and I agree. Reading vs Watching has a different feelingI love how the story feels so real, and their character is not a 2D. They didn`t act brainless like anyother couple. Their Love and Hate so heart breaking, and their chemistry feels so real. No love at first sight, etc. I love how they portrayed FMC. Smart, strong, outspoken, pretty, compasion, kindness, but she is also ruthless. She is not bubbly or egoistic or self important MC typeBut sadly, the Tv series ending is not what people expected (She died). Some people who already read the noveel said that tv series cut the scene after that, so they said that implicitly, in the novel, The Rise of Phoenix is a HE. And THAT`s! The sole reason why I really want to follow this novelThe Tv series is amazing with heavy on politic, complicated story line, and not something you did want to watch with the mind set "When will they kiss?" , "When will we have face slapping and OP FMC and ML roaming around the world?" No. This is about politic, manipulator, schemer, Love-Hate, and angstNot gonna lie, I don`t care how many chapter it will take, but I am going to stick to the ending
VERY GREAT NOVEL! The main character isn't an a$$hole like most Chinese MCs, and he is very protective of his family, and is very likable. Out of all of the trial reads, this is definately one of the top ones.
Review for Chapter 81-90: Like the chapters where MC talks about his mental health with Kaley when Kaley brought it up. One of the few things I like about what you wrote is the characters feel like real persons. heads up. after a while, you'll start seeing sprinkles of xenophobia. Not as blatant as some other books, but it's there. Man, it feels an inferiority complex manifesting when you constantly try to put down other countries. When you have to mandate that in all your literature. Just don't mention them at all, why do you have to constantly whine like you're butthurt?
Loved the concept of this book , at first someone maybe thought that it was just a love story but after reading it anymore cam feel the Depth of Diya & Rajveer's relationship & their support for each other & how the characters were developed
