love the series
This book is like Cinderella with a modern twist.
Oh no, what will happen to Estella now with Weston being locked up to prevent him from defending her. She is all alone with no one to protect her. I feel so sorry for her.
So far the story has been a lot like other novels that I have read on other apps, but it definitely keeps you interested and pulls you along better than those others. Definitely worth the read. Just wish the rest of the story was out.
Author pls, always include a sweet scenes of Mark & Summer in the story, remember that they're protagonist characters. It's really get the readers more excited,
I’m really starting to get piss if with this book! Please stop letting Anne get the short end of the stick. One minute people following Anne and the next they aren’t. How could kill Dorothy so fast be somewhere outside after being push from the 5th floor. Anthony where were your bodyguards at?

The characters are well developed, I don't like the father one bit, my mom said that the beginning of a story shows how the story is gonna go and how strong the background will be, she was right.

I need to talk about the pacing because Song Zhizhi is genuinely cruel to readers and I am here for it. The first twenty episodes move at a pace that's almost suspiciously good. We get Sanxiu's backstory, her discovery of her talent, the heavenly general's intervention, the slow absorption of spiritual energy, the growing reputation of the county, the lurking demons... and then BOOM. Episode 20 ends with the plague demon reappearing, recognizing Sanxiu as the child it injured years ago, and intending to seize her life elixir before the other great demons can. The text cuts off right there. Right. There. No resolution. No hint of what happens next. Just... silence. Su Manwen's reaction says it all: 'So where was the rest? Why couldn't Song Zhizhi write twenty episodes a day?' That's the reader experience captured perfectly. You're hooked, you're worried about Sanxiu, you're angry at the plague demon, and the story just... stops. It's the most frustrating cliffhanger in web novel history and I would read a thousand more like it. But here's what's interesting about the structure—the first twenty episodes aren't just setup. They're a complete emotional arc. Sanxiu goes from a sold child to a healer with spiritual power. The world builds around her. The relationships form. And then the threat returns, tying back to the very first incident that started everything. That's circular storytelling at its finest. The meta-narrative about Su Manwen reading and reacting to the script also adds a layer of pacing control. We get breathing room between the emotional beats of Sanxiu's story and Su Manwen's professional reactions, which keeps the overall rhythm from becoming monotonous.
Loving this story! Great writing! I really hope this book continues with them having a strong bond and nothing but love between the Luke and Tia! Show us that love can concur ALL!
