Its a story I would recommend, but not strongly. It has potential and will certainly be well recieved by the LitRPG groups but its pretty basic. Sure I haven't read anything identical and its an intriguing idea but it isn't fast enough to make one hooked. I read the 15 chapters and I loved it but when the updates are like they are(1 chapter everyday or two) its simply hard to hold the same interest as a large chapter everyday. I'm not saying that its a bad pace especially since I have experience writing and I know how hard it is to keep writing while life is going on.The character developement is a tad bland but this isnt a professional book. It seems like the MC was adapting way to quickly and accepting a crazy thing like it was an everyday occurrence. He acted vicious in one chapter to someone who did something nonsensical to the MC but it wasn't that made sense. The world is made to be similar to the real world and even recently(chapter 22 for me) included a real event with some large company but it seemed slightly exaggerated. Not that it is negative to point out. Overall I hope it gets more popular and gets some better pointers and the Author improves the story. Good Luck! I'll be in the shadows lurking like always!

I know, this review feels a little bit personal because for the novel itself, i loved it, even i re read it multiple times. So.. please don't kill our spirit and gype of this novel. This novel is good, too bad the pinyan makes reading this worse than getting an STD, seriously say "junior apprentice brother" like every other freaking translator, i can barely understand who they're talking about half the time due to the terrible pinyam.

Essentially Fang Xiangjian will only live 5 years with no positive emotions like love, though he still has rage, lust, and gluttony. In exchange, he now has unparalleled sword talent. Did you take two years to reach level 20 in sword basics? He reaches it in two days. He's the typical cultivation-obsessed MC that gets irritated and kills when interrupted, but otherwise, doesn't give a **** about their politics. There are constant hints about a large conspiracy but nothing too concrete. I love the way he breaks logic constantly and the way the world is introduced seems to be very logical. Try it out, though it only starts getting good around Chapter 20-30.

I am probably just bias because I love all of IET works. Simply because I am not reading a novel about some guy who has 50 billion women he finds randomly and then we have to waste half a chapter describing how beautiful they are. I simply read these novels for broken OP characters that have a goal in mind and try to accomplish that goal. One of my favourite novels is DE. And I haven't found a IET novel I don't like they just bring you to a nice place....Though the endings are always a negative but overall I always enjoy the story until the end. Unlike most novels which are...well...not that good. No constant face slapping moments nor the need to drag conversations on with mindless villains because of word count which is why I always enjoy IET and DD novels. If you enjoy good fighting novels which vast world to explore come read an IET novel....Just be weary of the last 20%....Might become rushed....Why CD...WHY!
