Uhhh guys why tf there is rape here can someone explain before i read it i don't want to get depressed...
where to start after s3 of the anime?
Overall it's a good novel
Is it inexperience or intentional? I don't really mind, but the writing is quite straightforward. Characters are portrayed in stark contrasts, and you can predict their outcomes from their initial dialogue. The protagonist is the center of every conflict, as if fated to be so. I'd describe this book as "destiny-driven," where the main character's strength comes not from intelligence or prowess, but simply being present. The black-and-white morality can be frustrating, as it often lacks consistency – he's the good guy, so anything opposing him is automatically evil.
The "Weak to Strong" and "Fast Cultivation" tags make it feel like a cliché, with the主角 effortlessly overcoming challenges. The concept of different "worlds" separated by clear boundaries means even geniuses from one world are average in others, but destiny propels them quickly through each one. There's a lack of clear goal or motivation; he's content to follow fate, which makes the story monotonous.
Some may argue that the comedy aspect compensates, but I personally didn't find it humorous. If the focus were on the interactions with pets, I'd prefer a different narrative. As it stands, I wouldn't recommend this book. It feels like a story that never truly resonated with its main character, but rather with the supporting cast, particularly the pets. If that's your interest, "The Charm of Soul Pets" might be a more satisfying read.
I must say, it's not bad. Despite the title suggesting the protagonist is foolish, he displays intelligence, strategic thinking, and careful planning. His constant banter with his trusty Siberian Husky, Pochi, adds a lighthearted touch even during perilous situations. The character's learning pace may be sluggish, but his persistence over 5000 years is commendable.
The score of 8 out of 10 reflects the主角在改变和领悟上的迟缓,但正是这种慢节奏为他重新找回失落的人性—诸如价值观、善良、体贴和公正等,在与世隔绝的漫长岁月中得以展现。这是一个值得阅读的故事。
Any individual claiming the MC is weak or overly righteous is, quite frankly, delusional. He is indeed a good person, but he refrains from killing due to the constraints he faces. His inability to resist stems from the harsh reality where those he serves hold immense power over him, capable of easily silencing him without lifting a finger. Despite this, he possesses clear objectives and aspirations, making him an intriguing protagonist with a rich backstory. While the novel may not be flawless, particularly in its final arc that seemed superfluous aside from the outstanding epilogue, I still believe it's worth giving a read – I'd rate it 4 stars.
I eventually translated this novel myself, and I have a somewhat conflicted opinion about it. What I appreciate is the dynamic between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ML). It's a breath of fresh air to have a villainous love interest who isn't sugarcoated as 'misunderstood'; the ML is genuinely evil, and so is the MC. This duality adds depth to their relationship, acknowledging that even though they're adversaries, both are flawed. The fact that they recognize their mutual attraction partly stems from their animosity creates intriguing tension, despite being a typical will-they-or-won't-they scenario.
However, there are numerous aspects of the story that fall short. The writing quality is poor, and many parts are dull, which is disappointing. The exam arc stands out as the only remotely engaging part due to its uniqueness and the social commentary it offers, making it more akin to true horror. Unfortunately, the arc's potential is wasted, and the ending fails to satisfy.
Additionally, I am annoyed by the excessive use of "barrage" – a narrative device where characters' thoughts and reactions are shared en masse. When done well, it can add complexity, but here it feels forced and serves no purpose other than to reinforce the protagonist's popularity and antagonist's dislike. The barrage in this story is particularly grating, as it's unclear who these 'watchers' are and why they matter. They never interact with the characters, making their presence redundant.
Despite enjoying the MC-ML relationship initially, the constant distractions make it lose its appeal. As someone who enjoys horror, the repetitive nature of the story becomes a letdown. In conclusion, the book doesn't offer enough value to justify the read.
"The 'World Conqueror System' is an enthralling read that combines elements of thrilling adventure and intellectual strategy. The protagonist's journey from an ordinary individual to a formidable force, as they navigate the complexities of power and morality, keeps me hooked. The plot twists and character development are commendable, making it a thought-provoking treat for fans of speculative fiction. It's not just about world domination; it's a profound exploration of human nature and the choices we make. A captivating read that leaves me eager for more."
"Unparalleled Class-less" captivated me with its unique narrative that transcended conventional boundaries. The protagonist's journey into the uncharted territories of societal norms left me spellbound. The blend of compelling characters and thought-provoking themes kept me hooked till the end. It's a refreshing read that challenges conventional wisdom, making it a must-read for those seeking an exhilarating literary experience.
I thought somehow I've already started this novel when I saw your comment ?
