if you can take the fact that the author is going to spam the phrase "mouth spasmed" every two sentences then you are ready to go... so far this novel is a solid 4/10
Quick review. This is the first novel I have "finished" here but it was not the 1st one I picked. I was actually reading another CEO story, Attack of tge Adorable Kid: President Daddy's Infinite Pampering, and I must say that though that one started off interesting and got me hooked because of the strong female lead and awesome and capable male lead, I kind of got bored in the middle and paused reading it because the conflict in the plot was always the same, jealous women who wanted to take away the male lead and harm the female lead.
THIS HOWEVER was so beautifully and creatively written thatthe plot along with the different conflicts are definitely not redundant. Despite the thousands of chapters the author was able to make a cohesive story with a thick plotline and conflict making this extra enjoyable. I had fun reading it especially because of the main couple. Looking forward for more chapters involving them.

The novel is quite challenging to read, with frequent shifts in focus. Although the League of Legends (LoL) aspects are enjoyable, the rest of the narrative feels disjointed, as if portions were written by an AI and then clumsily integrated by the author. There are glaring inconsistencies in logic that suggest AI-generated content was adapted without proper cohesion with earlier chapters, which were released around the same time as AI advancements.
The storytelling jumps between characters abruptly, often without adequate introductions, leaving readers unsure if it's the main character's perspective or not until halfway through each chapter. The constant changes make it difficult to maintain context, as events and conversations differ significantly from one chapter to the next, as if unrelated chapters were pieced together without reference to the previous ones.
To summarize the first 17 chapters, the story begins with the protagonist being sentenced to death in a medieval fantasy setting due to a prophecy. She spends some chapters playing a modified LoL game before being rescued. It's revealed that she spent seven years trapped in a virtual reality pod with her deceased mother, who was actually her, aged only seven. Strangely, nobody questions the unusual circumstances, and she's labeled an illegal immigrant due to lacking a mandatory birth chip.
The MC is then placed in an orphanage, where she's diagnosed with a physical ailment and escapes to live at a PC cafe. The orphanage shows no effort to look for her, and she attributes her departure to the other children, whose interactions remain unseen. Eventually, a university professor adopting her after a chance encounter becomes the novel's saving grace, despite their brief meeting.
While I'll continue reading in hopes for improvement, I suspect many readers might struggle past the first ten chapters, mainly due to the LoL segments standing out positively among the rest of the content.
I absolutely adore this novel; it has become my top pick among the books I've read. The translation from LKT is exceptional. It falls under the academy genre, featuring a well-designed system, relatable slice-of-life moments, and fascinating characters. Each supporting character has a rich background with room for growth, which I find delightful. The narrative is filled with subtle clues and well-crafted foreshadowing, making the plot engaging.
The main character exhibits a selfless nature, albeit with a fear of death, and occasionally struggles to understand his own emotions, despite being intelligent. For those curious about romantic elements, rest assured there isn't any romantic storyline involving the protagonist. However, there are plenty of characters with great chemistry, leaving room for readers to create their own shipping preferences.
A personal favorite of mine is Kim Shinrok, and I won't delve into why – feel free to discover him for yourself!
The protagonist is portrayed as exceptionally skilled and the overall story is quite engaging, featuring well-choreographed action sequences. Initially, the first volume might be the weakest according to my view, but subsequent parts improve significantly. The narrative balances humor with exciting action, and the main character is portrayed as calm and mature. Unlike some common tropes, he enjoys alcohol and visits brothels like a normal person, without an obsession with loli characters (although his companions often have that appearance). Reading it is indeed a fun experience.
Literally thought the same thing.
Though, the alternate story isn't that bad either.
