I somehow recommend Swallowed Star cuz it became like extremely good later on (not par with these though, that's for sure) No plot armor, MC's luck is only above average, everyone wants to kill him, but you might doubt some of his decisions.
Yeah, uhm its really hard to get over the language barrier but i typically just take a moment to think about it... and I read comments from websites that watch out for spoilers so then im just like "ohhhhhhhhhh"
The novel is one of the most interesting slice-of-life novels that I have read, it is even more impressive knowing that it was written by a little monkey named π... Jokes aside this would do very well if it was adapted as an anime... A good read to pass time 10/10 will recommend.
