don't read this book. another book with an AH ML glorifying rape and non-consent and forced pregnancy, and making it seem as something reasonable.. take my advice and skip this..
The narrative holds promise, but it was discontinued when a crucial event occurred (attributable to the succubus' seal), which served as a plot point to推进主角们的关系, even though the male lead already has a partner. Despite this setback, I'll stay hopeful for the story's progression, as the author seems to be hinting at a different dynamic between the male lead and his partner.
This book is absolutely killing me with laughter and love! I adore it; the main character is fantastic, and the plot is filled with thrilling drama and unexpected humor – I can't help but laugh out loud! How the protagonist handles those seven obsessive love interests is both hilarious and intriguing. The ending, while a bit unconventional, still managed to tug at my heartstrings. The final arc felt a bit rushed, but overall, it's an incredible read. Despite knowing it was all an act, I found myself tearing up in the climax. I wholeheartedly recommend this novel – it's truly exceptional!
I would rate this piece 10 out of 5 stars. The writing is truly exceptional, a true masterpiece. Reading over 300 chapters was a treat – it's that captivating.
The main character (MC) and love interest (ML) have somewhat childlike traits, but they come across as authentic and dimensional, not flat. The MC is an accidental Gary Stu, embodying his archetype, but it's endearing rather than annoying. While his effeminate appearance may be off-putting for those who dislike it, he's anything but helpless. He's a rabbit with hidden, razor-sharp wit and knowledge of past and future events. His denial adds a comedic touch.
ML, on the other hand, is portrayed as straightforward (cold, talented, and competent), yet attractive. His character development is impressive and humorous, especially given his tragic backstory. His actions are well-motivated, oscillating between yandere and puppy-like affection. The supporting characters are well-rounded, possessing emotions and depth, and even the "villains" have layers, though some are cleverly flawed rather than mindlessly evil.
What really shines in this novel is the vivid storytelling and engaging plot. The author's writing style earned a full five-star rating from me. If you enjoy romantic fantasy with elements of historical kingdom-building, political intrigue, and a blend of male-to-male relationships (BL), this is definitely worth a read, even with machine translation.
I can recognize the potential in this narrative. The female lead (FL) displays a sensible approach, and I appreciate how she gradually builds a connection with the son. However, personally, I find the pacing a bit too slow to suit my taste. Although the male lead (ML) isn't among the most unlikable I've encountered, he lacks charm, and their constant animosity doesn't engage me when the story meanders on. As I read, I'm hoping for a turning point where she decides to leave. A quick skim through suggests that by chapter 39, they're still living together. Given that, I think I'll put this story on hold and revisit later when there are more updates.
Is this completed? are we close to the ending?
Its a bit too slow for most and its relatively boring compared to the good novels
