This is a good story but you're better off not reading it because the author dropped it in the middle of the story when it was just getting good.

The novel is exceptionally well-crafted. Typically, when the main character (MC) or the male lead (ML) initiates a relationship, I find it slightly off-putting due to the condescending tone. However, this book stands out! The MC's free-spirited nature, outgoing personality, and carefree attitude are captivating. He's like a constant wind, yet he stops for ML - their love is profound and genuine, evoking strong emotions within me. Even when the MC sacrifices for ML's happiness, it tugs at my heartstrings.
What truly impresses me is the MC's independence; I genuinely admire his character. The friendship between him and Yu Nian is adorable and heartwarming. As for the ML, initially, I expected a stern demeanor, but he turns out to be gentle, like a leaf carried by the wind, mirroring the MC. Despite his past heartbreak, his love for the MC feels organic and seamless. Watching his character development is a delight, as he grows throughout the story.
The main couple is simply perfect - their flaws complement each other, creating an intriguing dynamic. Together, they seem to complete one another, like a broken vase that becomes even more beautiful when pieced together. I can't express enough how much I adore their relationship.
Of all the stories I've come across on syosetsu, there's one that stands out. It's a delightful blend of humor, cuteness, and a relaxed, no-nonsense tone. The protagonist, an OP character, defies logic and brings a sense of fun to the narrative. It's both a slice-of-life tale and an action-packed adventure, with plenty of subtle hints and background details for those who enjoy unraveling them (a re-read might be necessary from time to time). Even without delving into those aspects, it's an incredibly soothing and enjoyable read.
The author undeniably lacks experience in crafting a novel. Although Shen Miao Qi may appear selfish and unlikable, upon closer examination, flaws become apparent in the storytelling. Yu Xiang, a transmigrator aware of her bleak destiny, wisely grasps the opportunity with Yu Pin Yan, showing prudence. However, readers can see a resemblance between her and the villainous Shen Miao Qi.
A modern-era transplant of 25 years, unaware of basic gender norms, seems implausible. It's hard to believe a wealthy, modern-day heiress is portrayed as noble but illiterate. The female lead, though cunning, skillfully manipulates her brother, gradually winning his affection.
Another flaw lies in the迷信 plot, where characters' fates are determined by a monk's divination. While it may seem compelling, the protagonist appears to exploit the villain's misfortune, turning the tables in her favor. The villain's selfish nature is evident, reducing her to a joke.
The male lead, though strong and wise, demonstrates limited emotional intelligence when it comes to the heroine. Initially, he finds solace in her care, especially given her broken legs and his family's burden. He neglects his duties in search of her biological sister, allowing the narrative to develop around the antagonist Shen Miao Qi, ultimately shaping a negative image of her and propelling Yu Xiang's growth.
The hero, enchanted by his "sister," struggles to maintain boundaries, particularly in an ancient setting, making his actions comical. In summary, the author fails to provide coherent reasoning for the protagonist's actions, portraying the hero as foolish rather than intelligent.
The book was enjoyable, but it had a sluggish pace, particularly the romance, as there were no hints of a relationship between the main characters (ML) and the protagonist (MC). I haven't experienced such plot frustration in a while, but lately, it's due to authors' inability to create coherent narratives.
Regarding the plot, here are some criticisms:
1. The MC's decision to become an actress seems illogical. Initially, she intended to end her stand-in contract but ended up signing with an entertainment company after just one role. As a genius musician and composer from her past life, there was no clear reason for her to pursue acting, apart from financial gain. The lack of explanation for this sudden change feels like a plot hole, and the idea of her quickly becoming successful as a new actress doesn't ring true.
2. In the recent chapters, MC participated in a reality show abroad, where the editing team manipulated footage to portray her negatively. On the first day, she was made to keep the group's money, which was securely stored in a locked drawer. Despite the theft, she claims the money was lost. However, this doesn't hold up since she could have blamed the crew for the theft during the live broadcast, especially given the short timeframe and lack of fuss over the missing funds. The Convenient Disappearance of Money feels contrived and raises suspicion.
In summary, while the book had its merits, the slow pacing and some implausible plot points detract from the overall experience.

So I’m on chap 254, and all I can say is that I cannot fucking wait to be done with this insufferable ass novel. For those of you who see this and are thinking “I’ll see for myself how bad it really is” don’t. This is not worth anyone’s time. The only way you could possibly enjoy this, is if you turn off your brain and don’t think at all about what you’re reading. There is no plot, no good characters, no impactful scenes, no tension, no ride no fall no climax, absolutely nothing. It’s just an idea put into to words and published. There is zero effort put into this novel, just stay away from it. If you want a decent op MC magic novel, go read Last Wish System or My Fusion System. Those are at least better than this.
