This book is unbelievably sick and violent. Dark romance is an understatement. Couldn't get past chapter 5, just repeated brutal rape and physical violence.

Started off ok then just got unbelievable when he became a Danvers, how many families/companies hated them. Then came all these different women who he was infatuated plus Clingy Karen very irritating causing him his head in the clouds doing stupid things making him into an idiot.
Incredible book. I have never cried and laughed and got angry and then fell in love all at once. Excited for the sequel.

The plot of this story is completely different from the other Billionaire stories. it is captivating. I love that the author blends romance and action with the perfect pacing.
I will recommend this to anyone looking for a different romance storyline.

The fanfiction isn't bad, but there are quite a few issues with the translation.
The story aligns well with the description. The main character awakens a suicide system that assigns him various missions, which are extremely dangerous and could potentially lead to his death.
While the translation isn't as poor as some machine translations, it would benefit greatly from an editor to proofread it. Most of the issues I encountered were minor, but their frequency is what led me to stop reading at chapter 31.
At first, I thought this was just a comedy novel, with the protagonist's overly cautious behavior being the main joke. However, as I delved deeper into the book, I began to appreciate the author's exceptional storytelling skills. I initially stuck around for the humorous exchanges, but I ended up staying for the compelling narrative. I would highly recommend this novel to anyone.
The binge was quite enjoyable overall. I found the main character (MC) compelling, being cold, calculating, and only ruthless when provoked. However, there were a few storylines that felt rushed and abruptly concluded, while others dragged on a bit longer than necessary. My main complaint would be the lack of epilogues for each arc; it would have been interesting to see how the world and characters, particularly the love interest, coped with her departure and the aftermath.
The MC occasionally strayed from her main path in the real world, engaging in side quests that diverted her attention. It would have been fascinating to delve deeper into the male lead's (ML) background – what led him to his current situation and uncover more layers to his character beyond superficial details.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the experience was mostly entertaining, and I wouldn't hesitate to re-read it someday.
