Worth your penny and time.... Know that the author is very knowledgeable in different fields ...️
I like this story so much
I'm currently on chapter 70, but I've had enough. Despite the overwhelming number of five-star ratings, I don't believe the book deserves such praise. The main character's behavior constantly frustrates me – she seems to do nothing productive and her actions are utterly frustrating.
I have immense respect for those who managed to make it past chapter 40. The protagonist's愚蠢 and illogical decisions drive me crazy. It's as if she hasn't grown up at all; instead, she behaves like a petulant child, despite supposedly being an adult transmigrated into a 13-year-old's body. At this point, I seriously doubt it's an adult who has transcended; it feels more like a child.
I've come across numerous disappointing transmigration stories, but this one ranks among the worst I've ever read. I strongly dislike protagonists like this one.
Nonetheless, I'm giving the book only two stars. First, credit to the translators for their hard work, but the content itself is subpar. Second, I'm congratulating myself for reaching chapter 70. Honestly, if possible, I'd rate it zero stars.
The mtl of this book is iffy but once you get used to it you won’t have to worry about it taking away from your enjoyment of the story.
Isn't that Yuri?
Translators are ahead
I've read up to volume 130 of the RAWs, and I must say, this is an exceptional series. Unlike other stories where the protagonist is overly powerful, making the author struggle with balance and forcing the MC to make foolish decisions, this one stands out. The main character is intelligent, thoughtful, and maximizes his resources to overcome challenges. Although there's some romantic interest, it doesn't seem to be heading towards a harem plot. It's primarily about his journey to the top, fueled by his consistent success in dungeon clearing. Foxaholic's translations are commendable, but the straightforward prose allows even those with minimal knowledge of the language to keep up with the story using basic comprehension skills.
Firstly, I adore Shanghai Fantasy, particularly their website design. Their stories with a dark theme captivate me, but I wish they translated more straightforward narratives. Despite that, I was thrilled to see one of their translations and dove right in. The story is delightful; the translation is excellent and engaging. It revolves around a modern woman transported to the 1970s, and I appreciate the protagonist's optimistic outlook on life. She uses her intelligence rather than brute force, and her approach to parenting with modern methods is fascinating. She breaks the stereotype of prioritizing others' needs over her own, like sharing chicken legs and quality clothes with her children while being content with simple attire.
What stands out about her is her dedication to fulfilling the original owner's dream, unlike many other reincarnated characters who often neglect it. She believes it's her responsibility to pursue that dream since she's inhabiting the body. Despite her laziness, she works hard to get into university with her partner to achieve that goal. She also empowers helpless individuals by teaching them self-sufficiency through small jobs, emphasizing the importance of independence over charity. Her method of teaching kids through games, stories, and role-playing makes learning enjoyable. It's refreshing to see a story where the MC applies real-life knowledge to solve problems.
The only downside is that the book is收费的 (paid), requiring payment after the 40th chapter. I wish they followed a model where paid chapters unlock after a certain period, but alas, I couldn't continue without paying. The machine translation available was quite difficult to read, so I had to abandon it. It's disappointing not to be able to finish such a heartwarming tale. Lastly, I can't help but wonder about @7starkiller99's behavior, consistently leaving one-star reviews with negative comments across various novels. It seems like they spread negativity unnecessarily. Let's hope they find a more positive approach.
OK so the tags ARE messed up but it's NOT the fetishized trauma p*rn you'd think, nor are the power dynamics unequivically scuffed (1 instance of get back is when MC just kills his partner like 15 times! ON SIGHT in an amnesia genjutsu time loop and ML was just like Touche and also F*ck You! AGAIN?!) I swear once MC escapes being ML's slave (which happens pretty early) the dynamic is funny af; they're just SO ready to kill each other AND build a life together. Outmanoeuvring the other whilst being a total power couple, two b*st*rds in love FTW!
Nah the REAL toxic partner is the MC's ABUSIVE POS System. ALL THE HATE FR
So imo the tags are just the equivalent of saying This is Rated R so there's violence. Like there's mainstream love interests out there who have more red flags than my barbarian boy and they don't even have the excuse of being raised in an uncivilised society.
Oh and the M-preg is more like cabbage patch kids mixed with literal brain child.
Not pretty sure who the actual 'Main' FL is but there are two, don't concern yourself with the romance in this novel its almost non-existent with the MC being dense as steel
