DEMONOIDGOD
The cover art is a photoshop of The Way of the Devil, I kek-ed. Scratch that it looks like it was done with paint. Honestly an interesting concept but the pacing and character development is totally missing. The translation is good though, the book itself is not.
Can we please get some actually good translators for trial reads? the translations on almost all of these recently are horrible even though more interesting premises have been coming out.

HOW TO RECOVER FUNDS FROM CRYPTOCURRENCY SCAMMERS.Here is the reason you need to know about Cyberspacehackpro. Valuable information and privileges come rare. People barely know what they have never experienced. I was a victim of a scam. Anyone from all walks of life can fall a victim when the time is right. I recalled how I came across a business website who promised a huge return on investment. I was so convinced. The website was good and after all the convincing, I ended up depositing 900,000 dollars. I was silly and excited to think I could get a 200% return on my investment, after some few weeks. I requested for my profit then got nothing. To cut the story short, I realised I have lost my money because they keep requesting for more money, i got so mad at myself because I never thought I could fall for such lies. After some time I saw a review online that navigated me to Cyberspacehackpro who used some hack protocol, Wallet address and their trading website to trace the fake monetary base network. They were able to recover what I lost. I feel so much happy till this day. I am sharing with you this knowledge because so many people can benefit from this highly classified information. As a victim, all you need to do is tender the information of either the website or company you had an encounter with, then the hacker does his private job. author, would be great if you gave Santiago and Freya they happy ending
The stakes in this chapter are layered like an onion and I'm not okay. On the surface, Gu Nanci needs money for a lawsuit against Si Chang—250 yuan balance, no chance of winning without a lawyer. But dig deeper and it's about her reputation, her career, her very survival in an industry that wants her dead. Xi Ruqian's plan to use her as a controversy magnet means if she fails on stage, she's finished. The countdown to the First Public Performance is six days away. Si Chang is out there manipulating public opinion with his moral post. And somehow, through all of this, Gu Nanci is still managing to make a million-yuan music deal and get her song noticed by rival teams. The tension comes from knowing that every single one of these conflicts is about to collide. What happens when Si Chang finds out his 'victim' is actually the one selling bangers to his competitors? What happens when the mystery buyer reveals themselves? What happens when Gu Nanci finally steps on that stage and proves she's not the tone-deaf disaster everyone thinks she is? The author is stacking pressure from every direction and I am here for it. Six days. That's all she has.
'Brother Xuan, here, my brother just bought roasted earthworms.' That line. That absolutely devastating line. Han Duoduo showing up at his door with skewers of roasted earthworms like it's some kind of gourmet gift, and Chu Xuan internally grimacing at the thought of 'fat earthworms writhing at the internship farm' but accepting it anyway with a smile because he CAN'T turn up his nose in this world. I need to talk about Han Duoduo because she is genuinely one of the most well-written child-neighbour characters I've encountered in this genre. She's not just a cute prop. The author gives us her entire backstory in a few paragraphs: she and Chu Xuan grew up next to each other because their fathers were both astronauts, her mom treated Chu Xuan like a daughter, she cried for a long time when Chu Xuan's mom passed away, she started coming over more often to help tidy up and bring snacks. This is a relationship that has DEPTH. It's not manufactured. And the dynamic with Liu Qi? Perfect. Liu Qi is talented but impatient, gets irritated after a few words, so Han Duoduo stopped asking him for help and came to Chu Xuan instead. This is such a small detail but it tells us everything about their family dynamics. Liu Qi is self-absorbed even as a kid. Han Duoduo is the responsible one who keeps the peace. Then there's Xue Ming, who is basically the everyman friend. He's also preferential-status, his dad works at the Public Security Office, and he's just along for the ride. But he's loyal. He notices the rice, he drools, he doesn't ask too many questions. He's the perfect foil to Chu Xuan's secret-keeping. What struck me most was the moment when Han Duoduo realized Chu Xuan kept finding ways to let HER eat the earthworms while he deflects. She thinks he's being kind. She doesn't know he internally hates earthworms. That dramatic irony is chef's kiss.
Nice but expensive
