Dear Author, I noticed u didn't continue to update this book and probably not planning to ....so I'm not gonna start reading it although I'm very sure I'm gonna like it...but knowing there will be no continuation & no closure might as well I don't read it in the first place...
The plot is intriguing, featuring a selfless main character (MC) who isn't just a helpless damsel. The story is well-rounded but requires patience. I appreciate the multiple perspectives, which allow us to empathize with the characters' emotions. In Chapter 119, the main love interest (ML) confesses, and it's an adorable scene. He tells his stepmother that the MC is just a sexual partner, and she records it. Later, when she confronts MC, he confirms ML's statement. ML, hearing this, feels sad despite being the one to make the revelation. He avoids touching MC to understand his feelings without any physical pleasure involved.
During their conversation at a restaurant after the confession, MC asks about the touch aversion in the car, and ML explains his concern about not escalating things further. MC initially assumes ML only sees him as a source of pleasure, but as they nearly have a heated encounter in the dorm, ML's true feelings come to light. MC tries to clarify their relationship by suggesting they shouldn't kiss due to 'bad sleeping partner etiquette,' leading to a series of events that ultimately result in ML's confession.
I devoured the story in two days. The MC's ability to provoke situations to protect ML, like when he sacrifices himself to distract the antagonist, is heart-wrenchingly noble. Although I haven't finished it, I know it will be an enjoyable read. I'm reluctant to finish it because I want to savor more, but alas, there are no new chapters available.
Nah it's a good filler until the good stuff gets more chapters
Did you buy that novel or find it somewhere to read for free? When i tried googling it there were only e-shops and reviews.
Author likes to take massive random breaks.
Like he'll write a few chapters then just disappear again for a while (A couple months)
Could someone tell me, if this novel have any illustrations, between some chapters?
Cap 680. The relationship between the mc and the fmc continues without showing progress (it gets worse again). I already understand the reason why this novel has so many chapters, the constant push and pull of the relationship with the fmc is somewhat predictable at all times. They reconcile one chapter and the next everything restarts and so on over and over again ad nauseam. Worst of all, the author does it on purpose. Every time mc and fmc reconcile, the author can't wait to find a way to separate them again. The author is very restless... almost as if he has an obsessive compulsive desire to harm the main relationship.
I think its monster integration
I truly fell in love with this book and couldn't resist reading the rest from the Manhua Translation (MTL) updates. The MTL version was delightful, and I eagerly anticipate the completion of the translated novel.
I particularly enjoyed the development between Ji Qingying and the protagonist, especially their blossoming relationship. Once they started dating, Fu Yanzhi transformed into an incredibly caring and supportive partner. When Ji Qingying faced a challenging situation in university where her best friend, Lin Xiaoshuang, falsely accused her of stealing a dress design, Fu Yanzhi stood by her side. Despite the injustice and the damage to Ji Qingying's reputation, Fu Yanzhi's unwavering support left a lasting impression on me. This incident left Ji Qingying with negative associations towards competitions, which adds depth to her character arc.
Impressed by "DARKSIDE: My Human Evolution System," this captivating narrative delves into the thrilling journey of self-discovery and transformation. The protagonist's relentless pursuit of knowledge, as they unravel the secrets of humanity and technology, kept me hooked from beginning to end. The blend of science fiction and psychological depth is commendable, making for a thought-provoking read that challenges both imagination and preconceptions. A must-read for those who crave immersive storytelling and a dash of the unknown.
