Thank You Author for the beautiful story!!! Love the DelValles!!! ...️ Make it series!
Good book, but don't do what I did and read out of order. The first book is Alphas slave.
The conflict in these chapters operates on multiple levels simultaneously, and the stakes keep escalating in ways that made me physically tense. On the surface, there's the Lu Huaijin problem. He's tracking Xia Nanxing down, threatening Ye Shuya's family, and physically assaulting her friends. 'Young Master Lu just beat up Luo Luo and A Yao'—this line hit me like a truck. The violence is sudden and real. This isn't just a toxic ex anymore; this is a dangerous man who has power, wealth, and zero restraint. But the deeper conflict is between Xia Nanxing and Qin Heming. She's spent five years chasing him and never won. The power imbalance is enormous—he's 'infamous for his aversion to women and his ruthless demeanor,' and 'those who did [approach him]? They met terrible ends.' Yet here she is, drunk and vulnerable in his space, and he's being... what? Kind? The reader doesn't know, and that uncertainty is agonizing. Ye Shuya's conflict is equally compelling. She's caught between loyalty to her friend and fear for her own family. 'The Xia and Lu families were both among the top elite in the capital, but the Ye family wasn't. She truly couldn't afford to provoke Lu Huaijin.' She's playing a dangerous game, hiding information, lying to a powerful man, all while trying to protect Xia Nanxing. The club manager's perspective adds another layer—he's caught between all these powerful people, trying to maintain order while internally screaming. His final calculation ('Miss Xia ordered male models, Young Master Lu footed the bill, and President Qin made the profit') is darkly funny but also reveals how everyone is being used. Every conflict is real, every stake is personal, and the author never lets you forget it.
I’ve been waiting for 3 weeks for updates what the H
I love everything about this book!!!
Good book well written! A few errors but they don't detract from the story of the book! Would love to read the sequel!
Please give Daniel and Rebecca another chance, it's true that he treated her badly during their marriage due to misunderstandings on his part but everything was orchestrated by the evil David and Jessica. I wonder why this story is still centered around David even after his death.
a really good read with some nice twists.
I’m trying to find the sequel. Does anyone know if it’s out? I read in comments that the author put it out but can’t seem to find it anywhere
Nice story...
