This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity.And with the worst case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.
i don't quite understand how modern weapons which pack a punch more than swords cannot kill your average bandit (he was shot in the eye mind you) while a dull cheap sword can do so and i'd have liked to see MC growing personality wise and his system is more like a merchant business rather than a system which will allow the Host to grow stronger and face challenges its not rewarding

Okay, I'm going to be completely honest here. I'm not much of a reviewer but I'll give it a try. The title attracted me here but I was skeptical after I saw the genre.I mean yeah it had the name of one of my favorite protagonists in Its title but I thought, should I read a novel like this just because it had the name, Ragnar? Then I gave the first chapter a try with the aim of leaving it once it wasn't to my taste but I was shell-shocked by the unexpected familiarity with the Vikings movie.I had to check once again to confirm if I wasn't reading fanfic but still the author was able to develop a wonderful novel that just shows how much he loves and knows about the world of Vikings.Writing quality is top much with no grammatical errors so far as I have read which is sadly 40+ when compared to the current 89 chapters it has.I've been glued to my seat ever since I started.Update stability is pretty good as it is consistent.Character development is just wonderful as we follow the growth of both Tyr and Bjorn.The novel is just spectacular as I it makes it easier for me to visualize a lot of the characters in the novel, enabling the world background to flow easily to the story. Love how you were able to give so many characters enough screen time in the novel.Even lagertha also ??
Read only until chapter 6... From what i could see this is a novel based on forced ridicule situations just to create tired old slapstick comedy... As for the scientific part, good luck if one can find it.
