I need to talk about Lin Shuang because this woman is terrifying in the best way. On the surface, she's the perfect concubine—humble, self-sacrificing, always putting others first. She's painting herself as the understanding, gracious woman while Old Mrs. Wu and Wu Jiaojiao are over here losing their minds. But that faint smile at the corner of her lips when Wu Xiong agrees to go coax Jiang Xiu? That's the smile of someone who already knows exactly how this will play out. She's not just a concubine—she's a strategist. And the fact that she's using Wu Ling's prophecy as part of her own plan? Wu Ling wants to catch a noble's eye, and Lin Shuang wants her own status elevated. They're aligned, but for different reasons, and that tension is going to be so fun to watch unfold. Meanwhile, Wu Xiong is just sitting there thinking he's the one making decisions when really everyone's using him. The man has no idea he's being played from every direction.

I read 30 chapters of this book and finally just gave up because the blatant grammar mistakes makes it so hard to read. You have to readjust everyother line for it to make sense. I like the overall concept of the book, but it's not written very well, lacks a lot of description that a good book needs

Another amazing book by Moonlight Muse.. The book is part ot a series which I recommend reading them all starting with Her Forbidden Alpha. When reading Muse's books your going to join a magical journey. You will be able to picture what Muse writes. I think she is one of the greatest authors today.
