That a goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood novel, i hope you don't drop it?️??️
The synopsis leaves much to be desired. The exposition at the start of the first chapter feels a little too long but it's bearable. It reminds me of the common light novel trope of Hero vs Demon King. Lastly, the start feels slow compared to the premise of the novel. It likely would be more hooking if the start is a flashback of some sorts to a battle. An extra tidbit here: some descriptions of an object's external features feel half-done as I couldn't imagine it clearly
Author here again, to drop another review to inform you all of my mass release goals that i would love for us to hit. 500 Power stones= 2 extra chapters 500 Golden tickets= 2 extra chapters.Magic castle= 5 extra chapters Spacecraft= 10 extra chapters.Golden gapachon= 15 extra chapters.Once any of these goals have been met, I will release the chapters as promised without withholding a single chapter back I promise. So why not let us hit this goal together ?
is it me or is this hard to read and understand
This novel hits hard. It opens with Devon reminiscing about the good old days hammocks, flower beds, and Sophie’s first kiss. It’s this warm, nostalgic setup that contrasts beautifully with the chaos that follows. You nailed the emotional shift, from longing for peace to the brutal reality of what Devon’s facing. The sibling dynamic? Pure gold. Devon and Kisho’s banter felt alive, their bond grounding the chapter with humor before the trial. That ear yank? Chef’s kiss. It’s playful and light, making what happens next hit even harder. Then the trial starts, and it’s a gut punch. Devon’s desperation, his raw anger, and the betrayal he feels from the villagers are so visceral. The way he fakes his way through magic? Genius. You’re rooting for him, even knowing it’s not going to end well. And when the father reveals his true colors? Chilling. His sanctimonious speech, the crowd’s roar, and Devon’s brief triumph with magic all build perfectly to that brutal twist. His death and transformation into the abyss felt like a tidal wave of anger and raw power. Devon’s vow for revenge? Goosebumps.Kisho’s a tsun tsun Brocon, but his relationship with Devon adds so much to the emotional weight. Jideva’s ominous twist at the end seals it. The question of whether Devon will rise above his hatred or become consumed by it is the perfect hook.
I mean reading the synopsis alone peaked at my interest..The book cover is spooky and adventurous.. can't wait to find out what's in it for me.. ?
Why "Gacha Haven" sound strange and corny? I think a proper name would have been better.Besides that, the novel is good so far; I like the premise and it seems to be going the right way.
I am reviewing this book only for the FP

This book is actually the first book I’ve officially written. I’ve done some past projects involving translating Japanese light novels in the past but I felt like I wanted to try writing my own book. I make sure to take as many notes as I can but I do tend to forget small details like timelines. As for the story, this is a side project that’s based in the same world as our current protagonist. Eventually I plan to write a book about the current MC’s grandfather. He will be the main character of his own book. In case you’re wondering, this book does have an ending. I plan to end it around chapter 300 or so, unless readers actually like it. Then I’ll try juggling both books at the same time and go from there.
