Why are the chapters short now
It was not terrible, held my interest, but there were problems with the character development. Alice was not a whole person, and was sort of vapid. Also characters are introduced that do not make sense and really give little to the story. The story also goes off track at the end with no real ending.

The storyline is good, but the writing needs some major improvements. I would strongly suggest that if English is not your primary language, you get someone to help you with it.
