This novel is almost as cringe and bad as TikTok kids faking disorders and making up new 'conditions' to make themselves feel special.
This is one of authors who like to write game novel but did a little games in life. He can't relate the players mind. So not cool ?
This series is enjoyable, but not exceptional; it's decent, provided you can overlook the first volume, which is a jumbled mess. However, apart from that rushed and incoherent introduction, there are three significant issues:
1. Despite being the literal world's most powerful individual, the main character (MC) retains a beta-like Japanese personality, avoiding attention. His personally-trained subordinates take credit for his achievements, while the public perceives him as a laid-back slave owner. The MC's moral compass is illogical; although he's a 15-year-old in a 14-year-old girl's body, who adores him, he refuses to act on their affection until she's 18, while casually frequenting brothels. It's a confusing moral stance.
2. The excessive focus on cooking becomes frustrating. The author spends extensive time detailing every meal, making the fantasy action-adventure feel more like a culinary novel, akin to "Shokugeki no Soma."
3. The skill system is flawed. Characters can only improve in specific skills, like magic or resistance, by allocating points, which can only come from defeating monsters and leveling up. It raises questions about societal functioning before the MC's arrival.
On the positive side, Tami and Pochi are adorable. For those reasons, I'll give the series one star for their cuteness and an extra one for my personal enjoyment of isekai novels.
I really enjoy the novel; it's quite excellent, and I appreciate the character dynamics. However, I deducted one star because I didn't like how one character, Sami, behaved towards Ranko. Initially, Saki's opposition to including Ranko was understandable. But as Ranko became a part of the group, I found Sami's excessive affection towards her, especially when she tried to mimic Yuri's intimate gesture with a kiss, rather off-putting. It's unclear whether Sami is attempting to provoke jealousy, genuinely has feelings for Ranko, or报复 Yuri, but I wish this particular dynamic wasn't present in the story.
As an avid reader, I found "Overpowered Broadcast System" to be a captivating blend of science fiction and intrigue. The protagonist's unique ability to control information through a global network kept me hooked from the beginning. The fast-paced plot and well-developed characters made for an exhilarating read. The exploration of power dynamics and the ethical implications of such a technology was thought-provoking. Overall, it's a thrilling tale that left me eager to devour more of the author's work.

I can't bring myself to like this MC. His character is just weird. Dumb but not exactly dumb, just... he's not quite right. Maybe it was meant to be humorous, but whenever he does something major, his reasons are always be stupid. He keeps on complaining about everything. And i mean everything. Whether he grows, falls into trouble, or gain rare treasures, he won't stop complaining.
