lmao good to know, have you read author other work? warlock of the magus world, I feel like you'd preferr that typa MC more, he schemes and is calculative and only does things in his favour, doesnt mind helping peope if he gets benefits, but is ruthless to people who make use of him and will kill without hesitation and mercy, the progression is also nice, it even has a sequel
I love their circle of friends; the way they support each other is amazing. They have a bond that ensures no one gets left behind, and together, they all achieve great success.
I really enjoyed the character growth in both main leads (ML) and female lead (FL). It was fitting because the FL recalled her past and aimed to alter the course of events. What appealed to me was that the FL wasn't overpowered, which made the story more relatable. The secondary ML portrayed a tragic figure, but his loyalty was admirable. Despite his efforts, the FL never saw him as anything more than a friend, leaving him with a supporting role from the start. He played his part well as a genuine secondary ML.
I'm extremely frustrated after reading this novel, and I feel compelled to point out that it desperately needs the "slice of life" genre tag. Frankly, I steer clear of such content as it holds little appeal to me. If I were looking for a slice of life experience, I'd much rather watch the Animal Discovery Channel – it's far more captivating than the mundane activities portrayed in this book.
The first arc or prologue was indeed intriguing, and the subsequent chapters started off decent enough. However, from there on, it just becomes a tedious read. My anger boils over at having invested time in something so unengaging. There's more I could gripe about, but I'll refrain from spoiling anything. If you're a fan of slice of life stories, perhaps give it a shot, but for me, it was a regrettable choice.

Well how do I say this it’s a very typical Chinese novel, where China is the best because it’s free and absolutely ahem NUMBA WUN!!!!! also where Japanese and pretty much any other foreigner are evil and will kill innocent children just for the sake of it and I’m not kidding they literally write them doing that In chapter 232-233 some Japanese want to go into a dungeon and the author writes them massacring women and children who still have there eyes open from suddenly dying and not knowing how. But it was a good novel up to that point because then it’s goes down hill as you can tell by the first half it gets other “EVIL” country’s involved like this is why I like fantasy novels because it’s doesn’t involve BS Chinese politics that every so often you have to praise China like your life depended on it......O WAIT A SECOND IT DOES just look at another novel REVEREND INSANITY it had too much evil government figures that were controlling and watched your every move and if it’s out of line you disappear and suddenly it got reported to be against “Chinese culture and values” and got it taken down funnily enough it was by the author of SOUL LAND but whatever just ended up rambling how everything recently is going to hell from everyone having nothing better to do so they pick up a novel and report it for not enough nationalism and bs

The novel is very meh to blah blah blah, but it does have a few good moments, like 1 or 2 of them...
This isn't a story for someone expecting, well... a story. This is a story for someone who wants to watch an MC try to screw every bipedal creature with t*ts.
