4.8 because I am not sure how well they will keep to update schedule. Other than that I have no complaints at all. This novel is very well written, and translated and absolutely hilarious. I have only read 60 chapters so far but I have no problem recommending this book. Excellent! ??????????
Writing quality started off alright, then slowly came to sh!t. The grammar mistakes (lots of em) come at around chapter 40. At this point, the writing is not even a fraction as smooth as it had been when the story started. Can't say much about story development since I'm only up to chapter 58. All I can say is that it's quite boring at the later chapters, like you can predict what's going to happen. MC's merry band is equipped with thick plot armour and his only goal is to lead them to build a shop where they can sell goods.? I feel that author is downplaying the sense of danger in an apocalypse. It's like I'm reading a book about a party in a videogame farming for exp instead of an apocalypse story...There's plus sides though, in the earlier chapters, the entire part showcasing MC's history was done splendidly, but it all went downhill from there. The author only uses MC's background to explain his skillfulness at killing zombies and doesn't touch upon it again. Is he worried about his remaining family or does he not care and wants to forget them? And the other main characters (his best friends) are not emphasised upon. (at least not at chapter 60, maybe they will be later). They seem like the bland side characters instead of the mains because the author doesn't put much of an effort to describe their relationship with the MC. Side characters are side characters. Up to chapter 60, we only now their names and their previous occupation or general information (she is a middle-aged woman!). World background is actually pretty okay. Typical zombie apocalypse stuff yada yada. I like what the author did with the system, and explaining that those who couldn't take the pain at the start became zombies. He could build upon this and slowly reveal stuff about how it happened and why the system is in place. I stopped reading at chp. 65 because of the bad grammar. If it's fixed, I may start reading again. The novel started off strong and i hope it can salvage it's quality in future chapters.
GFS threw away the MC's personality as fast as possible. making GFS about the food only. this made GFS boring to read since the food isn't even real or possible to recreate unlike Shokugeki no Soma.if u want to read about a person who is reduced to nothing more than a cooking robot, customers who can be called A, B or C, dishes that are real but impossible to recreate and is essentially fictitious besides the name of the dish... read this!An example of the dishes in GFS.Hamburger but the ingredients are pulled from a pig that was frozen in an ice block on the planet pluto and it's super fresh and has no pollutants. it also ate nothing but krytonite so it is super strong and has no fat! The bread is made out of flour that is crushed meteorite, combined with water from the ice blocks floating around in the galaxy X01-99.
How shameless can you be to totally rip off a manga/anime and turn it into a Chinese cultivation novel?The premise is the same, the characters personalities/descriptions are the same, the story's progression is the same...When I got up to Saiki's brother's character, I decided to stop reading... It hurts too much to see one of my fav manga so blatantly plagiarised...Granted, the story is good and most of you would enjoy it but that's because the original story that this is ripped from is freaking awesome to begin with...Absolutely no talent in rewriting someone else's story...You're even worse than shameless author Bai (at least he rewrites his own story even if it is dropped a month or two later)
I never thought a diffrent clan then noble one's would have a mc but having an inazuka clan mc with this scenario is new and exciting hope to see it future development don't just become ****
I would presume, like many, I'm here because I stumbled across the anime and just had to have more. Because this story is addictive, and it is such because it's good. Beyond good, it is outstanding. Amazing. Brilliant. Asonishingly well-developed, well-paced, well-characterised, well-written story. I've read 662 chapters so far, and it just keeps getting better.The translator has my utmost respect. I know nothing about the Chinese language, and without their wonderful efforts, such a tale would have tragically flown over my head, and I would presume many of the other readers' too. It's remarkable how the chapters get updated at a steady, daily rate. I thank them greatly.It's a good idea to be aware for native English speakers such as myself, that it can be somewhat challenging for the brain to comprehend at times, particularly at first. The gramatical errors are there in every chapter, and the sentence and paragraph structure may appear a little odd, but with practise and determination these minor details don't matter a single bit. After all, it's the content that we're here for. And the content is truly worth it.It took an entire week of reading from dawn till dusk (roughly) to get to here so far, and I'm eargerly looking forward to the next chapter.I'm only worried about the MCs health, honestly, with how much he smokes he's got to be looking for an early death. Oh well. xD
