I keep thinking about Yu Shen showing up at the gate with Bai Yanrou. On the surface it's just some minor character alignment shift but there's something really unsettling about how quickly they pivot. Remember, these two were just defeated and abandoned by the national base—treated 'like street rats' apparently. And their immediate reaction isn't to find a better path or seek justice, it's to throw themselves at the nearest enemy of their enemy. 'I can help Sect Master Hua deal with Xia Ruxi. She killed Yanrou's parents, and we must have our revenge!' The way they position themselves as 'the sharpest swords' is almost poetic in its desperation. And Hua Zaitian's response—'I hope you keep your word and get your revenge soon'—he doesn't even pretend to care about their pain. He's just collecting weapons. What's interesting is the power dynamic here. Yu Shen and Bai Yanrou have clearly lost everything and they're trading their loyalty for survival. But there's also something almost tragic about Bai Yanrou's silence in this whole exchange. She's present but barely speaks. I wonder if she's fully on board with this or if she's just along for the ride because she has no choice. Either way, this alliance feels fragile and I have a bad feeling about it.
It’s good but I would like to continue it
it has almost been a month, when are we getting next update??
Fairly good story but the end see.s bit rushed I mean the gender of the children
Im lobist that they are getting closers. I hope that Alina sees that Theo is genuine…and as always - cant wait for more :)
Awesome! Keep up the good work, author.
That is true but not everyone would adapt to this reality fast, they would carry the prev world's morality subconciously
